I look for dogs 90% of the time.  You know what didn’t happen in the 2024 playoffs?  Dogs 

you have 2 dogs in week 1 rated higher than their opponents.  

Texas and Miami, and of the 2, I like Miami more.   In a perfect world, both these dogs step up in week 1.

just by looking at the data, i had to put longhorns at the top spot ahead of the buckeyes. i think that is the correct call. after their week 1 clash, things could change or it might not depending on the game result. my view on the game is what will the buckeyes bring to the game, because the longhorns are looking for redemption. in the last game they had a first and goal at the 1 but was denied then they fumbled it for a long touchdown.

the canes and irish are close but i put them there because of projections and similarity in data.

Look, I think Tenn is a Top 25 team, just not Top 10…Does that work?

not worried about any of that because i think they'll pick up where they left off last season-- which is back in the playoffs. they got georgia at home this time and the rest of the schedule is winnable. they go on the road to alabama and that could be where they take a loss. joey aguilar was throwing it good a few years ago but last years app st team was a total disaster. this time he gets to play for a team who's motivated to win after their qb nico ghosted them for ucla 

you can try to put teams ahead of tenn if you want. 

replacing michigan with lsu at the 12 spot 

I would put Texas A&M ahead of Tennessee…at your #10….

I think JA has a low ceiling for Tenn, but perhaps his impact will be enhanced in JH system.    I think there will be an incremental drop off from Nico, especially early in the season…

And yes LSU should also be in your top 10…replacing Miami…

Bill C (SP+) is always the gold standard .....early in the year some are off, for teams undergoing a ton of change (that might not show in the data)

The best free resource (by far) is Action Network - Collin Wilson is a super sharp guy - his numbers are really aggressive, but worthy of consideration.  Check out the fine work of THE DUCK over there as well - esp the BBOC  podcast.

Dude, Wolfman, Maui guy...whatever, don't be poisson on this forum as to avoid being banned again...Everyone is entitled to a perspective or an angle...no matter how absurd you believe it to be...You cherry picked my comment on JH, that I am sure has come to mind of many a capper...I also stated my concerns for Tenn having a journeyman starting QB with a low ceiling, to start the season as to justify not placing them in the top 10...We are all on the same team here, against the books...If you can't be helpful via constructive criticism or encouragement, then don't even bother to post...
