 He's not a fraud, but he does struggle when pressured - which hasn't happened much this season.  If Alabama can get consistent pressure, Mendoza will probably make some mistakes.

Simpson has faced pressure most of season, Mendoza hasn't - that's the difference.  For that reason I think Simpson is much better against pressure. Simpson keeps his eyes downfield, Mendoza doesn't.  Mendoza does a better job of throwing on the run.  Simpson has to gather his feet under him to make an accurate throw.

Nope. He played pretty good against a stout Ohio State defense. He will be just fine today. 

I don't understand your thinking and I definitely don't agree. The SEC is so overrated! I heard the same thing about Vandy and Diego. Not looking good at half against Iowa. Big 10 about to be 7-0 in bowl games while the SEC is 2-5. Indiana rolled through all these Big 10 teams.

I agree, his speeches are rehearsed and he is trying to portray himself as someone that is smart and mature. I think he is dumb as a rock.

 Nah he's for real. It's his faith that makes such a young man sound so mature because he has wisdom beyond his years. That being said he will be tested by Bama. SEC needs to flex their muscle. Big10 is embarrassing them so far

He’s not a fraud. But Alabamas defense is legit and will keep them in this game. May even win it. Bama got destroyed by UGA in the SECCG and was still 2 dropped TDs away from tying the game. 

bama has played in chaos all year. Indiana has played in management type games. Ohio State tried to bully them and it didn’t work. Bama will throw it 60 times and not even attempt to run it. I don’t see how anyone is comfortable with laying 7 points with Indiana. 1-2-or 3 if understand. But 7 points is crazy. Indiana is not Georgia on defense or even Oklahoma. So Bama being down 21 is not a problem. They know how to play from behind. 

I'm stunned how good IU's D has been but Mendoza can play... he's projected top 5 in the NFL draft for a reason...

 IU has one of the top defenses in the country and has shown that all year. There is a reason they are the #1 rated team. They are real deal and have been.

I love it, everyone keep disrespecting him and IU….and for that matter Cignetti. Everyone need last to realize they aren’t going go away. IU despite the history is finally elite….at least for the time being and foreseeable future.
