No. Mizzou has little to offer a conference and was no prize for the SEC. They've always been a little sister at best in football and while they've had good basketball teams, they've never even made a Final Four.

I read some of your other posts in this thread Jpero, and you make some good points. It really is all about football isn't it?
I mean, I don't know why Big East teams would want to jump ship. I understand that they are a borderline BCS football conference, but I consider them to be the "SEC" of college basketball.
I mean the Big East consistently puts between 8 and 12 teams in the NCAA tournament. The ACC only puts 2 in (Duke and Carolina).
I'd be pretty surprised if UVA joins the Big 10 though. As a local, they're probably the toughest school to get into in the state of Virginia. Their football and basketball teams haven't been very good for a pretty long time though, so they get a lot of competition from Virginia Tech because of their nationally ranked football team.
