Because its up to both teams whether its cancelled or not. I'm guessing marshall's coach does not want to cancel the game. I guess westmich and mich both agreed pretty fast. this is a rivalry game so im guessing its a bit different

Both teams ADs have to agree to end the game. Western Michigan was down big late and decided to give the game to Michigan. ND felt like they still had a chance and Marshall still thinks they have a chance.

Been following it on weather channel - it's Extreme Th Storms through 3AM - sure it won't be constant - but, seems unlikely they'll play and fwiw I've got a 'Live Bet' goin @ 5dimes and after the 1st interuption they showed the live odds for the whole 3 hrs (or whatever it was) - since this 'break' there has been no odds posted - so, either they have already cancelled it or they've not decided (other wise there wud be odds for ('Live Betting).

a fan in the stands was hit by lightning, how can the AD's want to continue they should be thinking about the saftey of ppl. I think the decision should be made by someone who got a brain or not so emotionally involved. I understand its a rivalry but you are down by 21 now in the 4th qtr comon somebody gotta call these dummies and say enough already!!!
