Hey, Guys. It's been an up and down season for me in both hoops and football. So much turnover in football, losing 31 letterman and the entire coaching staff proved to be tough to cap. Basketball is going to be tough too with the new coaching staff, but I like the way ECU is playing hard on defense.
Anyway, to the point. ECU is a candidate for Big East expansion. Television is a major driver of who gets an offer extended by that conference. Believe it or not, these polls are viewed by television executives.
If you ever won a game by tailing me, or if you just want to lend a hand in the effort and help out ole LuDawg...I'd appreciate the shit out of it if you could make 2 clicks and vote for East Carolina.

Agreed. But done for ya LuDawg. I love ECU in Conference USA because it sure does make for an easy OVER bet every week. Throwing them in the BCS would make their games tougher to cap, but I get what you're going for.

Thanks, guys! What's the play for tonight? My wife is out of town and my two girls (3 and 1) are staying with my parents...I'm feeling a bit degenerate! :)

It's crazy. 30k votes from across the country. People clearly think ECU is the most deserving of the BCS bid of the 3 candidates. Unfortunately, you know what will likely happen? UCF will get the nod because the school is in Orlando, Florida which is a top 20 TV market. It doesn't matter one bit that no one watches UCF games or cares about UCF in that city. You're talking about a school with 50k kids, 2 million people in Orlando and they can't sell out their stadium.
ECU on the other hand is a city of 70k people and averages 50k per home game at 100% stadium capacity. Not to mention the fact that UCF is 2-47 all time vs teams from BCS conferences, has only been to 3 bowl games in their history and lost all of them.
It's sad that college football has become less about those that are deserving to be at the table and more about what TV market your school resides in...regardless of performance.
