I see your point and have to agree....with parts of it. Although the coach is a factor in these games, I would say 7-14 points worth, its the players that play it. For all these 18-21 yr. olds to see Auburn almost get beat by a sloppy Utah St. the week before and just won by a onside kick in the waning moments mind you, that would make any Miss. St. Pplayer think that Auburn was a push over. Not to mention Auburn lost practicly everybody from the Championship Squad. Whenever Auburn plays a team that knows HOW to win we'll see who's informed. But I do appreciate the constructive criticism. Bottom line: Miss. St. don't know how to win when its game on the line and 1 yard to go.

No one's offered a decent explanation why this isn't LSU -6 or 8. All I can think of is that Thursday Night games historically favor the dog.
I think its because the bookmakers really like MSU and they especially like Dan Mullen. I love Mullen too but not in this spot. If Oregon cant get around the edge, i dont see MSU being able to .Only hope is to take off the lid and go deep. Good luck with that. Jarrett Lee maybe keeping line down a point or so. Bookmakers wrong on this one. LSU for me.

Leaning on the Points ..... Miss St took Auburn to the Wire in this spot last season ....Last Year's champs are much better than this years LSU squad ...

BrerTiger, Much respect to you. I think there was alot of misunderstandings last night and I never meant to come across as some asshole with a big mouth. Although after reading my posts again I can see where that could easily have happened. I could count on one hand how many negative post I've ever put on covers til last night. And that bothers me because this site is supposed to be about helping folks learn how to cap..(I Think) Not to show who has more testosterone. Anyhow, I'm not the best capper here or the worst but if there is ANYTHING I can help you with just holla.
Ms State has a good team but it seems like since they blew out Michigan in the Gator Bowl (a terrible Michigan team which just gave up) and then blew out Memphis in the opener (Memphis may be the worst team in the country) many people including Vegas have them overrated. In my opinion they should never have been a 6-7 point fav at Auburn. Maybe 3 but no more. And now they go up against a very good LSU team who has owned MSU the past century or so. It seems to me LSU should be at least a 6.5 point fav.
As I said, no disrespect to MS State because they are pretty good, but they just seem to be overrated right now. They are not a great team -- at least not yet.
