Huge Snyder fan here but I heard a stat today that I thought I'd share as it pretty much shocked me. For his career at KSU, against AP top 25 teams, Snyder is a whopping 17 - 38 overall and since his last return is 2 - 7.  Both numbers are SU.  For what it's worth.

Cats are like 154+-5 when leading at half since 1990. Might be wrong on a win or 2 there but you get the jest of it!

I dont think there are too many KState haters, they are the underdogs people like and admire. Clearly they don't have close to the talent of an Alabama or Oregon but they play almost flawless football.

I would love to see Snyder play against Saban for all the marbles

Kansas needs to get use to the Geno Smith. He will be the next first round draft pick for the Chiefs.

and in case anybody has failed to notice (*cough* Boom Boom)... we are now on West Virginia's 2nd drive of the 3rd quarter, and a team that some said "at no point will Kansas St stop their offense" has accounted for exactly ZERO points...

the messages that people need to get here are:

  1. Kansas St is legit... in the sense that they are a legit threat to meet up with Alabama in the NC game... probably the most likely threat, outside of Oregon...
  2. Collin Klein is legit... as in, not a legit Heisman candidate, but the fairly over-whelming favorite to win the Heisman... cuz his numbers are going to be the same as this all year long going through the Big 12 schedule...
  3. Bill Snyder is without a doubt one of the elite CFB coaches of all time... in the 90's he took a team that was not A perennial doormat in CFB, but THE perennial doormat in CFB, and within a few year they were a perennial top 5 team, playing in national championship games... he leaves the program, they instantly return to the basement... he comes back, and within 3 years, this team is going to be either playing for a national championship, or being the undefeated team that reminds everybody why we need a playoff...
  4. this defense is the real deal!  and a Big 12 team with a real defense is like a Unicorn... bet against at your own peril...
  5. WV sucks!

i admit when im wrong and im here to say i was never more wrong then this one. i thought the WR's would atleast get open but, they had no chance all night and i think they knew it.. i never had a doubt K.State would score and score alot but, to totally shutdown the WV passing attack im speechless. I will not bet against this team again this year. They are alot faster then i thought and, real tuff.. im very impressed
