I was all over KSU the second the line came out. Why is Iowa State getting no respect? Their offense is below average but their defense is one of the best in the Big XII. Paul Rhoads knows defense.

Ya, treblecyde...I hear you.  Iowa State doesn't get that much respect.  Although they did crack the top 25 after taking a loss.  I really like Iowa State against Oke State, as far as covering the spread tomorrow.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa State surprise some people with a straight up win.  Frankly, that game scared the shit out of me when K State had to travel to their house.  Good luck buddy!

I VERY RARELY PLAY TOTALS BUT THIS LOOKS LIKE A 120 POINT GAME TO ME ESPECIALLY AFTER READING THE WRITEUPS. TWO PROLIFIC OFFENSES THAT CAN SCORE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. COULD THAT BE THE PLAY?

Where did you get those shorts? WVU is clearly the play here.  You think there are hostile places to play in the Big XII?  The West Virginia inbreds will be all moonshined up for your boys.  West Virginia manages KSU's run game, gets enough stops, and scores at will.  You're going to lose your ass, but from the looks of your picture, you've got plenty to lose.  Good luck with the rest of your picks.

this is a very key point... between Iowa St and Texas, Iowa St is the better football team... consider that when measuring out these two teams...

when Kansas St plays Texas later this year... they WILL destroy them... not gonna need any last minute drives... not gonna be 45 points scored by each team...


do you guys not see how fucking terrible this defense is?  seriously... and you're gonna lay points against an undefeated team with an extremely proficient offense, tight defense and one of the top 3 coaches in college football???

Big 12 teams are not over-whelmed by what W Virginia brings to the table, and preparing for it is a fairly routine task for Bill Snyder... they see powerful offense every week...

the team that is in over their heads is W Virginia... they've come from the offensively inept Big East (where they routinely surrendered 30 or 40 points to teams like Pittsburgh or South Florida)... to the Big 12... where those teams frequently have ZERO players who would be starters on most teams in the Big 12...


on another thread people talked about squares being too late to see value... i couldn't disagree more strongly with respect to this game... THIS IS THE YEAR to get as much value as you can betting against W Virginia as they go through the Big 12... this is no time to jump off of the fade wagon...

if you think W Virginia is lighting up Snyder's defense, i think you are fooling yourself... i've seen this W Virginia offense struggle against far worse defenses than this one... they can frequently become too predictable, and rely on Geno or Austin's individual play-making ability... whereas Kansas St is a well-oiled, fundamentally disciplined, offensive machine...


i think you'll get your over bet... but it's Kansas St who is gonna get you there...

The wind was 30 MPH. Geno couldn't adjust. He's thrown dime deep balls all year and wasn't even close at Texas Tech. Don't expect the same thing in Morgantown. This team is fired up & pissed off and ready to bounce back. That's why Vegas has them as the favorite. Sucker money is on Texas Tech. WVU scores 40+. Take the over. Geno bounces back & WVU wins 52-46.

WV might score a lot of points... but that doesn't mean much if Kansas St scores more... i think your score looks pretty close... just have the wrong team winning... K St is the team that will get to 50 in this game... WV probably in the low 40's... your over bet is a good way to go...

as for the "wind" and other excuses for last week's loss... i can only shake my head... that was an ass-whooping, and an embarrassing one... if you can't win cuz it's windy... college football ain't your game...

i'm a big fan of Geno Smith... i can assure you, even HE isn't using the wind as an excuse for last week... he is a legit QB, and will be a legit pro QB... but he's on a team that has exactly 2 football players on it... think about that!

Wind matters if ur not used to it no? Gino was throwing very uncharacteristic passes like we havent seen from him you have to take that into account some.

I agree WVU's defense is in the bottom 10 in like every category. But this is a good matchup because they are a little better against the run. Terrible vs the pass. Klein is tough but I'm not that high on K State's RB. WVU would've gotten owned either way in that game, but the wind certainly didn't help. I mean the guy was completely over 80% before the game then went like 26/51? Never seen anything like it. He'll bounce back big. Tavon Austin, K State won't be able to stop him. Great game for sure!!! I like in Charleston, WV thinking about making the drive up. Will regret it if not. Shoot out in Morgantown! I'm teasing K State great value there but I think WVU wins! Bounce back week. I've become a better capper ever since I've looked what a team has or hasn't done the previous week. It's underrated. Best of Luck.

That is one of the more intelligent posts in this thread. People that say this game is easy, the outcome is obvious and (insert KSt or WVA) big, big, big are just showing their asses.
