Dustin,  U have seen ole miss go to fla,lsu,tt,  TT was this yr(after Jan) and really the same players that went to those places and won are still on the team.  OM lost some players, but for once we have people to step in ( peria jerry= jerrell powe), we have 17 seniors that started last yr.  As for u taking Aub thurs night over OM says alot to me.

Seems like everyone forgot the fact that Ole Miss beat Florida last year...ya the beat FLORIDA the gods of all gods the box of all fresh box....so your sayin SC could compete with FLA..i doubt it...i know its a year later, but you have to consider ole miss and their toughness and ability...they also won a great bowl vs TTech last year...they didnt lose that many players...only way ole miss loses if they beat themselves with turnovers...SC will be worn out by the fourth qtr

Also,  9-4  last  year  could  have  easily  been 11-2 ,,,,,,

i heard some guy say that no team in the history of college football has done less to get to #4 in the nation than ole miss.they have beaten memphis and se missouri state!!!

i agree, but i think everyone is just going off of what they did last year. i dont know what all they lost, but they had a pretty decent team last year

Ole Miss had a bad run of the flu over a week ago.
20+ players were sick. I assume that is over and done with now, anyone know for sure  ?

Red shirt sophomore Garcia has played good past two weeks, completing about 63% .

everyone seems to be forgetting that SoCar beat this same Miss last year at Ole Miss

They got the high ranking because of what they did last season, returning pretty much the same team, and having the teams ranked ahead of them lose.

Gamecocks " D" will come to play.Giving up less than 250 total yds. per game.Special teams killed them against Ga. & Spurrier will solve that by using starters on kickoffs & punts. Look for Garcia to shine.Take COCKS + 4 & ML.

I never,ever look @ the Sagarin rating when placing a wager, but they have S.Car +7.60 & there getting 4 to 4.5 @ HOME. THE "COCKPIT" will be rocking w/ 80,000 plus.Put your money on the Gamecocks!!!

It really was that easy if you pay attention. SC/SPURRIER...one coach is VERY vital to his teams! Nutt, horrid playcaller period. Will be out by the time the ice melts in OXFORD. SC always played NUTT lead HOGS very, very tough. I was in attendance a few years back when DMAC tied the SEC rushing. By the end of the game I was front row to SC, in amazement of Coach Spurrier. That guy can coach period. Spurrier = +3.5

yeah, and if SC didn't play like studs on defense, Ole Miss would've rolled.

Did you watch the game? Snead looked like a vegetable and it wasn't because of pressure. Mccluster ran all over SC, they get him involved earlier in the game and its murder she wrote, Angela Lansbury for the Cocks...
