This thread will run as a single thread in three parts. Part 1: Last Week recap with early leans, Part 2: Early Plays on line movement, Part 3: Saturday plays with write ups.On recap 2 scores will be posted what i predicted. All parts will be ran on same thread, so you will have to go to last page for Saturdays plays...
You will notice i rarely play the marquee match ups due to the star power and media hype with variables. I think Dr. Lou is a complete moron (his record on ESPN past two years is more like 22-38, not what ESPN posts...I count and keep track.) Lou YTD is 23-15...not 32-7
All unit plays are for 1K, also run a baseball thread under same title...All thoughts are welcome in thread and encouraged if well thought out...Love to see some feedback and posts...Good Luck to everyone on having a good season.
Sorry for taking so long to post this week...I have been on a tough streak last two weeks and the dogs are out time to play tight lines....

Rutgers -1.5 (1U)... Rutgers not the greatest but Louisville Oline still young and in shambles...be a closer game but Rutgers pulls it out on the road..

Early Play:
Rutgers -1.5 (1U)... Rutgers not the greatest but Louisville Oline still young and in shambles...be a closer game but Rutgers pulls it out on the road..
Cinci +3: S.Fla is coming in real beat up and getting very inconstant play from Daniels....Cinci has to much O but doesn't play well on the road...Cinci 30 S.Fla 24
Ill -3.5: Don't buy into the recent hype on how Purdue is a team that almost won...PSU is a bad team, They almost beat Rice (Lol) and they hammered Min...oh they did beat a real bad MTSU team....Scheelhaase scare me a bit with inconsistent play...but Illinois plays a good game on the road..Illinois 34 Purdue 14
Okla St. -6.5: Dont think Mizzou can slow them down enough to keep it close for long...OSU 42 Mizzou 24
UNC +10: dont know why but Clemson is due to fade with some freshman playing great football...Clemson 24 UNC 17
WF -3.5: Too teams that spell average Tanner is growing up and Renfree has no protection...WF 38 Duke 28
WMU -12: Back on the White/Carder connection...WMU 34 EMU 16
Oregon -31: Not that i think Oregan is really good coming into this banged up...Colorado is just that bad...
Aub +21: 21 too much juice in the SEC with 3 key players out for LSU...LSU 34 Auburn 31
Tex Tech +28.5: too much lumber

Aub +21: 21 too much juice in the SEC with 3 key players out for LSU...LSU 34 Auburn 31
Auburn +21 (1U) :Too much lumber for an Aurburn team that can scoe...LSU has all size advantages in the trenches but going through more turmoil with Matheu, Siemon and Ware being out. to top it off looking like Jefferson will take over at QB putting LSU O into some sputters. LSU has Bama coming up and has a huge case for a letdown and coming out flat against an Aurburn team with a new starting QB. If this was a night game in Baton Rouge i would stay away,,,LSU 31 Aurburn 20

Okla St. -6.5 (2U): Okla St. too much O for Mizzou here coming in struggling on moving the ball at times and in the red zone. Young Mizzou team is growing up fast in the Big 12 but lacks true size in the trenches and experience at this point. Okla st. will try to establish the ground game to open Welden before they start tossing the ball....I actually expect OSU to have a huge game on the ground and Welden to have an OK game...OSU 38 Mizzou 21
GT +3 (1U): GT coming off a sluggish and slow start against UVA. One thing i have noticed is more drop back passing than usual. GT was effectively using the option/read to pass that was allowing the D to bit and give Washington wide open WR down the field. Miami is a fast undersized D that could actually shut GT down early but size on the OL and grinding out plays will counter out Miami and Harris on the filed. GT 28 Miami 24
Ill -3.5 (2U): Don't buy into the recent hype on how Purdue is a team that almost won...PSU is a bad team, They almost beat Rice (Lol) and they hammered Min...oh they did beat a real bad MTSU team....Scheelhaase scare me a bit with inconsistent play...Ill has forgotten Ford as their number 1 RB and moved to a speedier Pollard to hit the edges...Purdue actually has the size on the OL and slight edge on the DL so they could have potential to control the trenches and the line of scrimmage. Illinois comes in shutting down the run only giving up 98 yards a game. If they stack the box and force Terbeh to beat them this will be a long day for the Boilermakers...Purdue comes in with a skewed #24 ranking running the ball....quick break down: (W)MTSU - 201 yrds..(L) Rice - 183 yrds..(W) SEMS - 393...(L) ND - 84 yrds...(W) Min - 183...(L) PSU - 150 yards...Most of the yards came against really bad defenses...Purdue gets stuffed on the line...Illinois 34 Purdue 14
WF -3.5:(3U):Too teams that spell average Tanner is growing up and Renfree has no protection..WF comes in with a big OL (315 avg) and a young QB in Tanner Price coming into his own...WF will look to bore the blue devils to death with typical Grobe play calling and it will work...Blue Devils lack size on the DL and small CB's (5'10) against taller WR's for Wake Forest (Givens 6'1, Camparo 5'11, Davis 6'2 and Dembry 6'2) all spells trouble for Duke without starting safety Butler already gone and back up Campbell gimpy...WF 35 Duke 24 or 28

Oregon -31 (1U): Not that i think Oregan is really good coming into this banged up...Colorado is just that bad...Colorado comes in missing 3 on the OL and outside of Gray (WR) they have #2,#3,#4 Wr's out as well giving Hansen, who doesn't make many picks no one to throw to..The Colorado D is shambles from injuries and suspensions. This team has not looked good all year and should think about making a transition to Div II... Oregon banged up as well a freshman Bennet comes in at QB. Not as much concerned about James as RB depth is huge for the ducks...Colorado just wont be able to stop the constant attack from the ducks...Oregon 56 Colorado 14
WMU -12 (1U): WMU connection rebounds after No. Illinois just exploded in the 3rd last week...WMU has size int he trenches to keep pressure off Carder as he throws to White (6'1) Arnheim (5'11) and Ponder (6'2) against EMU with 2 - 5'9 190 CB's and samll on the DL..Carder passes for 350 and 3 td's as Broncos roll...WMU 45 EMU 2

ULLAF +3 (1U): ULLAF only loss was 63-34 at Oklahoma..West. Ken not looking good as they were coming around last year...ULLAF little undersized in comparison here and actually looses the my favorite advantage 'the Trenches' (Line of Scrimmage)...But WKU without top 3 WR and strating QB again makes a lot of pressure on RB Hillamn while ULLAF only giving 119 a game on the ground and can stack the box to stuff the run....ULLAF passes their way to a 6th Str8 Win...Rajin Cajuns 34 WKU 28
WKU/ULLAF O45.5 (1U): See above for write up...i see points here..
So. Miss -3 (1U): Big OL gets running game going and setting up easy play action against pass happy SMU..Look at QB lines:
Big difference is So. miss averaging 212 yards on the ground and is not as a one sided O as SMU...So. Miss averaging 507 total yard and 39 pts a game at home and only giving 250 and 15 pts a game..Big OL at (325 avg) and Hardy and Johnson have big days on the ground...So. Miss 35 SMU 28
