I honestly had Ohio St -4.5…I just can’t back the inflated number +6 with Ellers…and honestly Sark ain’t my jam. Significant Coaching advantage I believe with the Buckeyes.. Hoping that drops down below the lame number 5. Obviously Auburn, Tx is scarred for life… Cut the perm and make a kick for fux sake. Texas just seems like some wild eyed boys a bit over eager and undisciplined, Ohio state has looked like a well, oiled machine with a clear agenda..I’ll most likely be back with a confirmed Ohio st wager…stay tuned.
The difference that stands out to me is looking at the face of Ellers (nervous, reaching, hoping,) vs Will Howard (focused, alert, aware of what he’s supposed to do on every play with confidence.) The difference is significant in my opinion… not to mention an NFL ready WR who creates mismatch problems all over the field. I will say so many of these enormous games come down to the PK. You can Cap the game for weeks and then some 5’8” 155lb kicker seizes up and shanks. Ask Michigan how important PK’s are. Or ask Ohio State in recent years.
ND v PSU - Slobber knocker coin flip…I prefer Allar, Singleton, OL and intangibles. But Franklin stands firmly in the way…the health of Carter is immense. ND is flowing really well. Lean the under and give me Willingham and Irish as a 2 unit play. Both kickers kinda sketchy. To note PSU is a second half Team, and can come back. Notre Dame has rarely played from behind…something has to break there.
My current Natty prediction is: Ohio st 31 N Dame 21 Obviously a lot can change after the semifinals especially regarding injuries. But that’s how I see it currently and will hit a future or two.
