yes I believe refs get paid to sway a game a certain way- but that isn't "fixing" a game- the players still fucking play and how many times have you seen a team still kick ass despite a bunch of shitty calls against them? To truly fix a game is next to impossible- Just like basketball- kids can be paid to lay bricks but if all the other kids aren't paid then that team can still win- It's much easier in basketball to influence games since there are only 5 players on the court- if one is on the take then it has a bigger effect then say a college running back fumbling a couple of times in one game

People murder each other over money. People even murder their own parents and grandparents over money. And yet some people believe that a freaking football game can't be fixed over money. EVERYTHING is about money, EVERYTHING. Not all games are fixed, a very small percrntage are, but it does happen. Totals are fixed  more than the game itself.  Get over it, and move on.

Games can be influenced- but if you think they can be totally fixed then you are clueless- Funny how betters are never on the right side of the fix- only when they lose do they bitch and moan about it

I have been on the RIGHT side of a "what looked liked a fixed game". You mean to tell me, out of 150 games every week, not one of them could be fixed. Really, not one? Like, Houston versus Marshall going OVER the total. There was NO WAY that total was fixed?? No one paid attention to that game.
