Vandy is coming off the 1st 10 win season and they look to end Pavia's college career with a bang. Unfortunately they are playing a physical solid defense that can slow it down and turn it into a brawl. The Vandy Defense has played well vs the run all season but if you look at how many physical down hill rushing attacks they have faced this season, I only see 2. Missouri ran for 170 yards and Auburn ran for 210 yards vs Vandy and I think Iowa's offensive line is better than both. The Iowa O line won the programs 2nd Joe Moore Award honoring the best O line in CFB. I think Iowa pounds the rock and keeps the Vandy offense off the field. Pavia will be without his favorite target the last 2 season, all American TE Eli Stowers who is opting out. EVERYONE will be playing for Iowa including star CB TJ Hall who missed the last 2 games because of injury. The Vandy offense has been great all season but so has the Iowa defense. Iowa has seen some great offenses this season playing USC, Oregon and Indiana and holding them to an average of 21 points per game. Iowa has played an SEC team in the last 4 bowl games, they are 2-2 and should be well prepared for what is coming. No Doubt Pavia is fantastic player ending a great college career but I will back the better TEAM.
Iowa +5.5
Good Luck
