WTF are you talking about man?  He said hell no to fifteen, it wouldn't have been high enough for a back up, so he would not have "lost anyway" as you say.  The line would have been between 11 and 12 which he obviously would not have taken.  So what is exactly your point?  It would have gotten nowhere near 2 scores plus, which makes your point mute.  You may be a "seasoned bettor" but your reasoning here blows.

pretty skewed perspective... Texas got 2 huge breaks to start the game, along with another "onside kick" break in the 2nd half...

the Colt injury created the illusion that you got screwed, but this game would have been no different... when i make the right bet, i know pretty early in the game... before Colt got hurt, with Bama up 7-6, i knew i had this game won... Bama completely dominated the line of scrimmage all game, and if you didn't see that, you were watching the game with blinders on...

There wouldn't have been a line on this game without McCoy because Texas wouldn't even have made it to this game without McCoy.  Texas doesn't run the ball well and without McCoy they couldn't really pass it either.  It's a miracle that Texas was in a position to cover late in the game and tells me that Bama isn't really as good as some think they are.

The problem with the young QB was the field position.  Every time he got the ball deep in his own territory it was a disaster.  And there was no excuse for that Utah pass before the half.  I don't know what would have happened if McCoy hadn't gotten hurt on the 5th play, but obviously the game would have been played much differently.  But injuries are a part of the game.
