alopez agree your post was not negative.
You are actually one of the few that does bring info to the forum. Your threads are worth reading.

Scal I'm gonna continue to follow your picks and I will make money doing it.
    Already have.
Not many people can pick 60% and you are way above that.
    No need to explain
    On to the next pick.

Ignore the no life pathetic haters

Actually, alopez's write up was very good and your 'light years' were dead wrong.  You need to wake up and realize that sometimes a little humility in a loss goes a loooooong way.

It's easy to criticize someone who is actually offering their prediction of a game, especially when they were wrong.  I actually respect your handicapping ability, and appreciate the time you spend on your write ups. Unlike 95% of people on this forum, you actually contribute to the site, I will never be critical about someone who shares their insights about a game.  I am pretty frustrated with this forum, because it could be a unbelievable resource, but 99% of the people bring absolutely nothing to the table, in most cases they actually make the site worse, bc their only comments are meant to troll/criticize the few people who take their time to do a write up, or help the community... This thread is a perfect example.  If somebody decided that they would share their prediction of this game, I doubt they would ever do another write up... People act like they're paying you for the time you spend researching a game.

    Well said Lopez. Appreciate it.

It is amazing as MEN, we want to crap on other men who simply offer info on pick for FREE to help THEM make money!

Why? Because they don't want other men on higher social hierarchies than they are. So they defame them and eventually run them OFF THE SITE (I'll never go, don't you worry). Imagine that!

I appreciate the time and effort you put into your analysis. Sometimes I agree with your take, sometimes not but i don't understand the negativity. It's gambling, you have good streaks, you have bad streaks and we are all looking for an edge. I use Scal's advice to help me make up my mind. Ultimately it has to be my pick, I can't blindly follow someone else.

This could be a great resource for sharing information instead of trying to one-up each other. I welcome everyone's input because it hopefully helps me make a more informed (and profitable) pick.

And for everybody who is so negative about receiving detailed write-ups and analysis I'm sure he will happily refund your $ you are paying for the service.
    Wait... it's free?
Let's move on and pick some winners. Only 35 bowl games left.

Love the over of Tulsa. Go Hurricanes

Eight hours to analyze a game is truly incredible and I mean that in a respectful way.

And for everybody who is so negative about receiving detailed write-ups and analysis I'm sure he will happily refund your $ you are paying for the service.
    Wait... it's free?

Saban - it is true. I duped myself through by my trust in Applewhite. Big mistake. The Herman departure, as square and espn-ish as it was, was the right angle.

I didnt expect to spend that much time, but this was a really tough game to judge, Houston was wildly inconsistent, but they beat Florida State last year, beat Oklahoma, and blew Louisville out.  I thought SDST was the better team, but they had their own issues, like losing to Southern Alabama, and an incredibly weak Strength of Schedule

yea TBH it was probaly a lot more than that, but I really dont know, I guess it depends on if the write up I did counts, bc I probably spent over an hour on that alone.  i rewatched a few of both teams games, so I'm sure it was an embarassing amount of time

Man Houston always get eff over.

First art briles who recruited RG3 to come to Houston
Then Sumlin who had Johnny manziel
    And now tom Herman.

It's just not one coach too. Each time the head coaches leave, they not only take recruits but other coaches with them

You win some, you lose some.  And some people win a lot more than they lose.  Like Scalabrine.

He's been very good in college football this season. Would be phenomenal if not for the Mountain West conference.

He's "par for the course" in other sports.

Very few people get rich betting on sports. And Scalabrine isn't one of them. The proof is in the pudding. He wouldn't be on here so much looking for validation and arguing with "trolls" if he was actually making any money doing this. I don't know what his deal is exactly. Because he posts more winners than losers.

Horrible money management? Another bad hobby that he can't control? Something is up with him.

I teased BYU down when they were at -8. Not laying a big number to Bohl and Co. who will fight to win this for legitimacy.

Wasn't crazy about the BYU starting QB going down in the Utah state game which pretty much took me off any side in this game for capping purposes.

Yes Jdr, par for the course. Ok. I just post my record for the covers world to see because it was demanded when I didn't (again like I was hiding something). And there it is in lights.

No need for your constant "something's up with that guy!" insinuations as no one cares what trolls in my thread say at this point....except for....trolls.

    Thanks to the others above.
