BTW...I notice from your record that until recently that you usually pick between 3-4 plays a week. The last couple of weeks you've played more.....what's up?...hang on to those winning dollars friend. Stay focused and in control.... there is still a ways to go this season.

two favorite plays this week are Va Tech and UCF... but i am really surprised to see both of these lines drop past key numbers...

how can UCF go from (-4) to (-2.5) in this matchup?  this is a complete physical mismatch... one plays defense, the other doesn't...

i can't even fathom Houston winning that game... how the hell is that line dropping past the most key number right out of the gate???

now UCF (-2) at 5Dimes...




should i be reading more into these last 2 games from Houston than i am?  or reading less into their 2 blowout losses to the only 2 physical teams they have played (UCLA & Miss St)?  or just reading less into a line move from 4 to 2 right out of the gate?

GL swizz...14 is a lot of pts in that VaTech matchup but I'm looking to lay it....the Hokies have been on a roll winning and covering 6 straight I believe.

The Hokies have to blow Ga tech out of the water this week to move into the higher ranks, which is exactly what they are going to do. Georgia tech is overrated in this position and Va blows them out by atleast 21.

Central Florida is one of the hottest teams in college football right now. Other than the WV game, which was garbage, these guys have been rolling. BJ Daniels is on top of his game right now and they will make Houston pay. Also Houston lost to UCLA nuff said lol.

Definitely playing both of these games as well!!!

I feel ya slow.  I was winning some extras I wasn't posting, so I decided to put 'em all up.  Six plays is still on the low end of most posters here.  This week, I tried to keep it small, but with all these midweek games it ain't easy.  I only have 3 Saturday plays...that ain't so bad.  You're not wrong though...I gotta keep a lid on it.

VT obviously got derailed after the Boise loss, but that's CFB.  All off-season, they put all their eggs in one basket, and Boise stomped on the basket.  Now VT is back and they are pissed.  At risk of sounding like Dennis Green...They are who we thought they were...A very solid, top ten team.  I expect a very big performance from VT at home here.

Yea, he's been hurt for a few weeks.

North Texas has tons of injuries too. 

The Mean Green is one of the worst teams in CFB.  This is a gift, even if I play QB for Troy.

The last 3 years Troy has beat North Texas by 24, 28 and 38.

3 TD win for Troy...it's free money.

The SMU win was an OK win.  But, I'm sorry, you get no points for beating Memphis.  Memphis is almost non-competitive.

For me, this game ain't about Houston, it's about UCF.  Vegas continues to sell these guys short. 

UCF will nave no problems moving the ball on offense. 

Piland, Houston's third string, freshman QB has no experience dealing with a defense like he will see from UCF. 

I just see two teams in two different classes here.  UCF is the top of the C-USA.  Houston is an average C-USA team.

swizzol; I am not sure I totally agree with you on the UCF/Houston game; first off you are taking a road favorite evn though not much of one; and UCF has not looked very good AT ALL on the road and has barely played on the road; 24-10 win at a (2-6) buffalo; lose 17-13 at kstate and win 35-10 at (2-6) marshall team; they are 11th in points against but struggle to score; this is a night game on national televesion espn 2; houston may not have a great defense but if they get rolling UCF doesnt have the offense to stay with them; ECU was able to move the ball pretty easily against that defense going 9-11 on crucial 3rd down plays; if they do that against Houston it wont bode welll; houston coming off 2 big wins on the road and now come back home to face the conference leader with an explosive offense; UCF defense better come to play BIG TIME because Houston can score and they are AT HOME which is a HUGE advantage GL

I don't disagree with anything you say here, except the "2 big road wins for Houston."  I'll give them the SMU win...that was a nice win, but I can't give them any credit for whipping dog shit Memphis, (I picked Houston -14 last week, BTW.)

Piland has yet to face a defense like this.  He is going to face and see things he has never had to deal with. 

Also, you can't tell me the below average Houston defense is going to keep UCF from scoring. 

I'm not saying UCF is gonna take 'em behind the woodshed here, but -3 sounds like a nice price.  It seems like Vegas undervalues UCF every week.

I personally have been with the Greek for about 6 yrs now...a solid book. They at one time were the best around IMO. They released the lines early and offer action on just about everything.You can buy points anytime and as many as you want up your wahzoo. The problem with them is the juice with them will just kill you in the long run. They are too pricey. JMO....

I'm also with Pinn;...theses guys offer better juice, but they do annoying shit....release lines late...freeze them when they do until late Mon; early Tue; morning. They aren't wide open at letting you buy what you want in a line.....I guess I'm spoiled with the Greek....they also freeze a line when it comes real close to game time.....another sucky move from them.....

In the end...I'll be dumping the Greek for good after this season.... and Pinn I would strongly recommend as ONE of your books on line because of the low juice.....but certainly not as your ONLY one. They present themselves as a book that only wants to offer lines when THEY want to and at the line they want to......not cool.
