Just realized a ton of folks are on Texas. What am I missing about this game??
K-state is playing at home and against a Texas team that has yet to show me much. Is someone hurt? Is Snyder gonna be calling in plays from his couch? Even so I believe a strong K-State team coached by Snyder at home is > a sub-par Charlie Weak team away from home.

I like Rice, Ohio State, Miss St, and Alabama...
With regard to Texas, people still think this is a Mack Brown coached team...if Mack were still the coach, Snyder would slap us around...This is a tough minded Texas D, Texas has better players. And though Snyder is a great tactical coach and knows how to prepare his teams, the coaching at Texas has now been upgraded from Mack's soft approach.
I don't know if Texas can win, but even if they don't, Kansas State will know that they have defeated a tough team. I am not on either side, but I like our chances to pull the upset. For Texas to make a bowl this season, we need to upset, Kansas St, or West Virginia . I think we will beat Tech, and Oklahoma State. I think we will lose to TCU. So with WV playing well, you could consider this a must win game for Texas. I think you will see a solid effort on the field. And these MFs at Texas will play hard for 4 quarters under Coach Strong.
Again, these clowns that are criticizing your advocacy of Texas plus the points are assuming the status quo for Texas against KSU and Snyder. If those KSU backers win their bets, they will find that it won't have been easy, in my opinion...

UAB QB Cody Clements likely is out - doubtful with a concussion. Clements is throwing for over 69%. and making it easy on the running backs as they are not forced to deal with 7-8 defenders in the box.
The back-up QB is a sophomore who has thrown 27 passes, has completed 11 of then to his team and 3 of them to the other. throwing for about 37%..........UAB will not be able to move the ball in the air against ARK. even if they load the box to stop the run.
When I saw UAB was getting all of these points I was ready to jump on them as well but this game looks to be a tough cover going up against a SEC team in their house where they almost beat BAMA.

Thanks for that stat on the QB. I was totally unaware of this. I'm glad I did a little more research before I put these last bets in.
I still think there will be a lot of points scored in this game.
