Sorry, been extremely busy. Had (and still have) two rush jobs that I have to push out the door. Businesses like to take advantage of 3-day weekends so they don't have any down time.
FSU is NOT a "Max Bet." It is a "Best Bet," and yes I'm still on it. The line actually drop very briefly to -8.5 on Bookmaker yesterday, so I added two more units to the play. As of now I have 5 units @ -9.5, 2 units @ -8.5, 1 unit on a 2-team parlay (FSU/UNDER), and I just added a half unit on Pitt UNDER 17.5 team total.
Monday Night Games:
Florida State -10 @ Pittsburgh *** Best Bet ***
Florida State @ Pittsburgh UNDER 49
*** Switched play to game UNDER versus 1st Half

I actually have the total @ 49.5, NOT 49. 49 was a typo. Not that it matters because apparently neither of those lines is available anymore for anyone reading this. I still think it stays UNDER 48 becasue I just don't see Pitt scoring more than 10-14 points max.
I took a peek at FSU on the "Alternative Line," but it's -17.5 @ only +190. YUCK!!! Can't go there. No value.

In rebuttal I would point out three things.
I faded new/freshman QBs all weekend in the form of 1st half UNDERS (a very proven formula for me in the past), and that didn't work out well at all. New starting QBs for the most part lit it up this weekend.
Secondly, this is not just any QB. This is Jameis Winston. He will be a beast from day 1.
Lastly, Pitt is completely outmatched in this game athletically.
Anything can happen, but I'll take my chances with Winston and FSU tonight.

thanks for the insight jimmy. I'm in the under as well. I also like how you totally ignore the drama presented in this thread. some cappers get bent out of shape when someone trolls and you just completely brush it aside without acknowledgement.

Public hype on Winston is laughable, like him better as a baseball prospect if anything. Accuracy is average at best, yeah he has a couple tools but has not seen a top 15 defense like this. 9 returning starters on a stout 17th ranked defense from 2012 this is an absolute gift with the points. To take the UNDER 49 AND FSU makes absolutely zero sense. Good luck not hating on the pick just saw everyone and there moms picking FSU felt like this Pitt defense is getting no credit.

For those of you saying that Pitt had one of the best defenses last year... All I have to say is look at that schedule. The 3 best offenses on the schedule (Cincy, ND, Louisville) combined for 108 points (36 ppg). The teams they played well against defensively were simply laughable (VT, Gardner-Webb, UConn, USF, Temple, Buffalo, Rutgers) Syracuse being the only DECENT offense they held in check. Bottom line is none of these teams will compare to FSU's offense.
