I think it will be a good game.
Fl is nasty but Oak can score at will
and i'm not saying that because of the game today.
Mizzu is a joke.  it's sad that they were even in the championship game.

Boy Ohio State vs Texas....OMG! Anything less than 10 and Im on the Longhorns heavy...but I see that line openening at 11.5-12.5. Alabama vs Utah...please! I'm on PSU as the upset dog special of this bowl season...remember Michigan last year, yeh its going to be like that.

If Florida is actually favored in this game it will be one of the grossest mismanagement of a line I have ever seen.  For God sakes Oklahoma will roll up at least 35 on the Gators and I think even with the atheletes that Florida has the Sooners have even better talent on both sides.  Did you see Bob Stoops on the sideline tonight?  He is a maniac on a mission and nothing will stop him from getting that fucking trophy..

BINGO.  Honestly I don't see how on Earth a line north of PK will draw enough Florida action.  Jesus, Florida is on a roll and a great team but this Oklahoma team is flatout SCARY right now.  And its running, passing, defense... EVERYTHING.  This Sooner team is a MONSTER at the present time..

Naw Florida will be favored Musberger said it during the game. That mofo was on it early...and Herbstreit chimed in like "yeh this is information for those that want to know"...lol. But uhm I see a real short line anyway..nothing more than -3. So getting OU with plus points or even is a blessing, but to be honest I will have to do my homework on this game because I will be in Vegas cashing in some season total wins that I made and celebrating New Years so Im putting a lot of money on at least 1 of these bowl games and OU as a dog seems to good right now....but then again Bob "Big Game Choke" Stoops hasnt won a bowl game in forever so who knows.

That statement right there gives even a BIGGER reason to back OU in this spot.  Bobby Stoops has never had a collection of thoroughbreds like he does now and every facet of their offense is so dialed in they are ready for anything..

how it will draw enough florida action? florida is just as public a team, and everyone loves the SEC. florida money will come at a premium. and correct me if i'm wrong but i think this gator team is a "monster" at the present time.

Yeh I know, Im curious as to why Vegas wouldnt just favor OU and let the public drive the line up. But I guess you cant really do that after you've favored Fla by 10 against the #1 team in America on a neutral site. The smarts would just cry wolf and jump on Florida plus money then I guess. I have to do my research on it...and when I say research I mean game film. I have their last 5 or 6 games each DVRed. But Texas - anything less than 10 is an automatic dime bet...no questions asked. I am just not that impressed with Pryor and after they go down 2 scores Beanie wont be a factor anymore in the game

hope you're right, longhorns are my squad, would love to see colt tear this defense apart. one worry is look at past records of teams getting shafted by the BCS system, will texas get up for this game after getting robbed of the big 12 championship.

LANDIS  --  You are spot on in stating that Florida is a public team.  But Oklahoma, at this point in time is almost as, or close to public as the Gators are.  OU has been on major network TV for at least the past 5 weeks and the public is no stranger to the Sooners by now, especially after all they hype with their point scoring frenzies.  And... with all due respect, I don't really believe that Florida is on the same plane as Oklahoma right now..

oh i agree with you here, probably the 2 most public teams in college football as of now. only other ones i think i'd consider would be usc and texas. thats why i think the public will be pretty torn on this game, and possibly the sharps torn on it too. we'll see what happens, should make for great tv

They will try to rout OSU because in their minds they will think that if OU beats Fla...that they can try to hold NC claim especially with the AP (even though OSU isn't that highly ranked) but do you think the AP wants a repeat of '93 with FSU winning the ship after losing to ND who finished #2 with the same 1 loss record.

very good points smoke. and i know no matter how much i say  i might not play texas or whatever, i'm bound to at least throw a unit or two on my longhorns

we all need to remember a couple of things - - first, both teams will have not played in one month when they play again.  This makes a difference.  You need to cap games like this the way you would cap a game at the beginning of the year - - teams are rusty.  Also, very good OU teams over this decade have come up very small in bowl games and national title games.  Maybe it's the layoff, I don't know, but I don't trust OU - - I thought they would beat USC and LSU in national title games past, and got smoked in both.  (I know the LSU game was only 21-14, but OU was down by two scores early and never recovered.) 

Not sure what I will play yet, plenty of time for that decision.  Florida could also pull that shit they did against Ole Piss.
