If you ignore ASU's two games against non Division 1-A opponent, Central Arkansas, and lowly Memphis, in their other 4 games, they have run the ball 116 times for 233 yards for 2.0 yards per carry. Their rushing numbers are extremely skewed due to their 103 rushes for 611 yards in two cupcake games. Meanwhile, in 5 of 6 of FIU's games, they have held their opponent to under 120 yards rushing and less than 3.5 yards a carry. FIU can run the ball. ASU looks one dimensional and those are quality wins for FIU over Louisville and Central Florida. Some rain and win in the forecast can't help ASU. I don't see these teams as even on a neutral field assuming you give ASU 3 points for home field in a conference game. FIU in my opinion, is the better team.
FIU +3 (2 UNITS)
