Boom calls out others for attacking, yet name calling is his standard response to anyone who has a differing opinion. Including Double, who Boom wished harm on his family for his OK bet on the OK/Clemson game. Instead of out having a good time on NYE and celebrating Clemson's win, he comes onto Covers to say how much he hates the site. The lady doth protest too much.

Just like when he welched on his ACC vs. SEC bet a couple years back, he'll be back. He's just too self important

This is pretty much right on.

I MUST say though, some of this personal attack stuff has gotten WAY out of hand.  Boom and I have certainly had our share of nasty exchanges, and in general, I really dislike the way that he acts when someone disagrees with or questions him.  I think the thing that all of us (myself included at times) has lost sight of, is how this all fits in in the grand scheme of things.  Afterall, we are talking wagering on a sport that is played by mostly guys in their late teens/early 20s.  We are not talking life and death issues.  This stuff is so miniscule when it comes to other issues that people are struggling with in their lives.  For anyone (Boom, or anyone directing comments at Boom) to be calling for someone else to kill themselves or even insinuating in that direction, is just pure insanity and is spoken out of pure ignorance, immaturity, or some sort of mental illness.
I am in now way a fan of Boom, he can be quite a hypocrite at times, he does not hold true to his word, and he is blinded by his love for Clemson. However, despite all of that, I would never wish any harm on him, and in truth, hope that he (and everyone else on here) is able to find happiness and satisfaction in their life, whatever that may look like.

    Ok, rant over.

Alabama had the better personnel but could not stop the spread.
now I still say IF clemson played in the S.E C they would have never been in the playoffs, I THINK OLE MISS is better along with LSU.  Clemson was more like Arkansas than any other team I saw this year. neither one could play defense but had a great offense
ny 2 cents worth and  am still pissed that Alabama won the game. especially with Clemson out playing them At least I won my bet.

No offense, but Clemson would beat LSU if Watson drank Gatorade the whole second half.I can't see Ole Miss defeating Clemson either. That's probably the best all around Bama team I've ever seen & it took a near perfect popkick to beat Clemson..I quit reading Boom's threads because I was ready to drive to Auburn for the Clemson game just to knock Boom out,but I'm too old for that mess.He had a good season, but if that's the only sport you cap..U should be good.I've seen a lot of losing Saturdays by this guy.He isn't even in the same stratosphere as MegaLocks, but who cares really. The bottom line Clemson is ACC Champions.....maybe one day.Now good get your shoeshine box.

It's noticeable that those who wish Boom well and have all season typically do so out of respect for his ability to cap games.  They don't get too worked up about how he comes across.

His detractors generally resort to insults and vulgar expressions, all about a guy they've never met. Oh, and his perceived lack of honour for deciding to return. Did Michael Jordan have no honour when he came out of retirement I wonder?

Says a lot about the intellect and maturity of each group doesn't it?

You stated it perfectly. The detractors are just mentally and emotionally challenged idiots who lack maturity, and stalk his threads to feed there need for attention.

Agree with how Boom_Boom expresses himself or not, the basis of the forum is wagering, and very few, if any, do it better than Boom_Boom and his 60 percent plus percentage rate.

The other things should not matter, as he provides winners, but the mentally, emotionally immature kiddies that flood this forum do not get it, as they view this forum as there kiddie playground, contributing little or nothing, other than the personal attacks, as they get there satisfaction not by getting to the pay window, but seeing how much attention there antagonistic behavior can draw and disrupt threads.

    and another thing....................

Guys that work hard > post plays....

Leave because it eventually becomes a LOSE / LOSE proposition
*if you post long enough.....you WILL lose a lot

    The CYCLE is this :
*folks seem to REALLY remember your losses...more so than
           your wins
*SO...(subconscious at work )....guys try to make you remember their wins....by making these BOLD predictions
*setting themselves up.....to be a HERO.....or huge GOAT

Smart thing to do....ignore it or just leave of course
*BUT..........most would rather not go....and it kinda pisses you off
so you stay and fight it out wtf...........

    RIDICULOUS......

It won't happen....buy you guys here that need....a LOT of help
*would be better served to.......(great locker room sign)
LEAD ...FOLLOW...OR GET THE HELLL OUT OF THE WAY

meaning....offer creative criticism (or support)........that's it
      *
a thanks here and there maybe if you want....but not necessary really.....doesn't take a huge brain to figure out how STUPID it is to run off guys that drive the forum .......what will you have left?

It is better to be feared - than to be loved.

There's a few folks on here who could put there heads together w you and make a community on their own terms i'm sure the folks like you who command the activity that makes this forum valuable must have thought about it if not already doing it  or in some way covers is providing some incentive for certain folks to stay on here.. i mean that's so easy it could be set that up in geocities for god sake  or with a few bucks it could be way more legit and not hard to see how that venture might be valuable or at least nix out the crap you don't want. ... I mean ...i'd just be happy to be allowed on and post w you guys on it..

Then again, if what's the point if we couldn't get all these great emoji's on there

So yards are your reasoning as to why Clemson was the better team? Last time I checked, you have to have these things called TD's to win the game. It appeared as though Clemson dominated the line of scrimmage, and they did, but Alabama did also, when it mattered the most. My hat is off to Clemson for the way they played. I COMPLETELY underestimated them, and they were among the best teams we played this season. The fact of the matter is though, on the big plays, when it really mattered, Alabama stepped up. Dabo got out coached, and we got the win.

So, you were wrong about the blowout and so was I, but I would not say that one team dominated the other. Each team played one hell of a game, but like I said, Bama got the stops when it counted the most and made the big plays.

Going to really miss you Boom, best of luck to you in your life and future...

Clemson did not dominate the line of scrimmage, if they did they would have won and not given up 45 points to a statue QB that sacks himself and did multiple times in the game... or they would have been able to actually run the ball against Bama, they couldn't. They were still for the most part running into a stone wall. But yes the difference was the QB positions, Watson is phenomonal. Wish we had him at UF

FINALLY someone said it! Coker maybe the worst QB in Power college football teams and his team put up 45 freaking points, well 31 if you are not counting special teams because you are a butt hurt Bama hater. But the point is, Clemson dominated nothing, just to hedge my bets I took Clemson and the points and Bama moneyline which I HATE doing, but the better team won and ALWAYS will. Roll Tide to all the hating whiny beeyatches and just know, no matter how you spin it, clemson lost to Bama and that will NEVER ever change and your heart will probably never recover from it, and the world laughs at your miserable pathetic attention person lives.

Is there another poster on the forum who is more immature, ignorant, or mentally, emotionally challenged than this idiot???

My question is rhetorical as it is obvious it is not possible.

Dude just grow up and leave the thread. You've posted on like 7 guys comments complimenting them on  'standing up to Boom' ..... Instead of being a troll, grow up, move on and use the site for the right damn reason.... to share picks and betting advice.

Its embarrassing what the football/basketball forums on here have become. Just a bunch of whiny little kids throwing temper tantrums.
