I think Ohio will score much easier on the Texas D than Texas will score on the Ohio D. Im taking Ohio and the points!

Let's look at a few things.  Ohio State lost a close game to Penn State, one of their rivals and a team that OSU has beat several times in the last few years.  The game could have gone either way.
 
Look at USC.  Right now USC would beat anyone.  They would clobber Texas, beat Oklahoma, and beat Florida. 
 
OK st ran pretty effectively vs this "tough" Texas defense.  I'm sure OSU can muster up some yards to make managable situations on 3rd down.
 
Lastly, you talk about McCoy dominating the
"little ten" defense.  This defense has 2 first round draft picks in Jenkins and Lauranitis.  You really think Shipley is going to blow up against Jenkins.  No way.  OSU's defensive line should be able to play pass every down which allows guys like Gibson and Heywood time to tee off.  McCoy will be under pressure the whole game.

Badlands and Doubleup I'm with you. I think this game gets away from State early and it's hard to catch up kicking FG's (see USC and Penn St). I'm dumbfounded that people are on Ohio State......I could be wrong, but could the 3 of us...Don't think so

Not sure why everyone keeps using the penn state/usc game as an example. Penn State almost covered the 9 pts, and USC should have been the #1 ranked team this year.  I think USC would beat Okie by 10+ if they played!

I think they are coming to play...........Motivational factor/location/......
UIT would be #1 if not for 2 plays vs TT.......dropped INT and safety/corner f'up...........just not see'ing OSU after reading through threads and looking at some stats.
