GOOD ARGUMENTS FROM BOTH SIDES. NOW IM REALLY CONFUSED, WAS LEANING LSU BUT THE CORNERS FOR MSU PLAYED REALLY WELL AGAINST AUBURN. WAS LEANING UNDER BUT A FEW CRUCIAL PICKS COULD VAULT THE SCORE OVER. STILL STUDYING BUT SHOULD BE A GREAT GAME TO WATCH TONIGHT.

Probably my ignorance is telling me that this LSU squad is a lil bit overhyped, not that they are not great, but c'mon, "60%" of covers community think LSU is the national champion already....... How many time we've seen great defenses fall apart on the road (even @ home) against good offensive teams......for the good amount of reasons u just posted Hermes and some of my research and a gutsy feeling......i'm going to side with the home underdog. BOL for everybody...

I mean they beat oregon who was in a tough spot playing their first game of the year with alot of new players and everyone is crowning lsu champs after that game...people judge too soon.

and you paid for a hook to get it 4 when it is at 4 almost everywhere now. 

if you were going to go Miss St. you should wait until as close to kickoff as you can because it will only go up.

You are an idiot and you come in here looking to bash somewhere. Just because you are on a different side. Why dont you come here and give some quality insight as to why LSU will win instead of focusing on bs. First of all at the time I posted my play the line was at 3 - 3.5 everywhere as it is riight now.

Secondly why dont you look up the word hostile and see what it means.......Unfriendly. Both Oregon players and LSU players were playing in a more unfriendly environment than they are accustomed to. For 1st time Oregon players playing at Cowboys Stadium its hard. Especially going up against a more experienced LSU team.

Please come in and offer quality insight as to why you think LSU will win or dont post in this thread at all. Good Luck tonight on your play.

If LSU is a national title contender then College Football is a joke this year. In my opinion no team with Jarrett Lee at QB will ever win a national title.

This is a trap, everything on treeds points to LSU, all the matchup's look to Miss St. Both these teams have scoring every quarter.

I'm not saying Miss St doesn't have a chance to win this game, however, to suggest LSU is overrated, would mean you have 3 teams in mind that are better than them.  It seems like there is more and more parity in college football these days, and it's difficult to find elite programs; I don't see many better than LSU.  Who would you put ahead of them?  I might put these three or four:  Sooners, Tide, Badgers, and perhaps Stanford, but would have difficulty finding many others on a neutral field.

It's not to say LSU can't lose on the road, they can.  It's college football, we've seen lots of great teams over the years, get rattled in the wrong cage, turn the ball over, and lose.  But I don't necessarily think their overrated.

Nebraska is, and I'm a husker fan.  But that's another story for a different thread.

I really like the idea that MSU's offense is an up-tempo one, like Oregon's, but with more power/strength with a north/south orientation, so that suggests to me that by the 4th quarter -- or sooner -- the LSU D could be gassed, allowing the MSU offense to move with greater ease and add on more points for a SU upset.

I also like that the MSU D can stack the box, forcing Lee to go one-dimensional against the shut-down corner backs of the MSU D.

Like you say... nice match ups in this game that favors MSU.

Then there's the charged home game environment that favors MSU.

I'm going MSU ML with this one.

Good points made Hermes, I was impressed with LSU against Oregon and not very impressed with State against Auburn.  But I do believe State will be the more motivated team, at home and after that loss.  I expect a good game tonight, thinking more of a defensive, low scoring game.  But i was right last week, probably be wrong this week.  GL tonight.
