i don't watch Miss St much but when i do, this seems to be my conclusion.

they are up 3 with 4th and 1 on their own 19.  everyone in the stadium knows they aren't going to snap it, even mulen isn't that dumb, but Miss St. lines up anyway and fakes a play to try and get auburn to jump which of course they don't.  so, all mulllen does is waste a timeout.

in a close game in the 4th on the road, don't you think you might need that timeout?  idiot.

incredibly stupid in a game like this.  of course, the announcers don't even mention it. 

perfect ending.  mullen wastes all his timeouts, auburn has the ball last and basically runs the clock out and wins it on the last play and miss st has no chance to stop the clock. 

this is how coaches lose games.  hard to tell sometimes because the announcers are so clueless. 

best part is miss st covers the 7 but loses the game which they deserved to do with a serially idiotic coach. 

I dont think Miss. St. would have called a timeout anyway, why would they, still that TO was dumb.

i was switching games, but i assumed that when auburn was driving at the end and running out the clock, miss st might want to stop it.  the way the game ended, auburn gets the lead with 10 second left.  anyway, there as other garbage two.  one of which was that trick play auburn ran where the receiver was by himself for a td and the garbage auburn qb missed him  by 10 yards.  miss st is just poorly coached.  always has been with mullen when i've seen them.

Au wasnt running out the clock they were trying to score a TD if they could or at least a FG. Calling a TO would have only given AU time for better playcalling and with a true freshman at QB Miss. St. wasnt gonna do that, but all they needed was a couple stops and couldnt get the job done.

ok, i assumed auburn was trying to run clock since  they did so well to score with only 10 second left.  i missed most of that drive watching another game.  i'm glad auburn won that one. 

clubdirtsports is so badazz he  not only wins you money he then kicks the coach in the nuts who he won money with 

taking a sizeable underdog, bitching on covers about my coach who does stupid garbage during the game, being in a position to cover the spread late and then rooting for my team to cover but lose outright . . .

speaking of , what the f*ck is the longhorn network and why don't i get it on directv?  i wouldn't mind watching texas lose again. 

does anyone get this outside of texas?  there's a lot of sh*t that goes on in texas that should never leaver the state but a decent football game isn't one of them. 

I'm drunk, so let me play devil's advocate. I love the idea. This should happen all the time, college and NFL. Line up, run some worthless shift, I guarantee some dumbass team will jump offsides one time. It's wort the risk. 

If these teams would employ a degenerate loser like myself, I would coach them to lineup and fake like going for it on 4th and less than 5 every single time. Their is nothing to lose. Take your friggin penalty and punt if it doesent work. I'll do it for $50,000 a year.
