Bibendi, welcome back and best of luck this year. Can you tell me more about why you are high on Oregon? They should have a good year, but I have concerns about their offensive line jelling early in the season on the road. They have one big stud returning but 3 of the 5 did not start last year. They will probly be fine later on but so early on the road I could see them having issues. On defense they return only 5 starters, and they have a new head coach. Yes the skill positions are hot, but at first glance am leaning toward Boise.
GL
I plan on releasing atleast 1 write-up every 2 days leading up to the season

Ive stopped getting my ass kicked because of your plays!! LOL I'm leaving my ego at the door again this year....I just cant pick football. Thanks a bunch for all you do.
Now that is some pressure. Will just work hard and hopefully produce for you this year

And a thanks to everyone who posted well wishes. Been very busy at work of late and not much time for this place. Will definitely get myself in gear starting next week though. Going to try to hammer out a write-up every other night and get some quality discussion going.

Boise plays nobody in their stadium. The best team to go there in the last 5 years was ECU 2 years ago with Chris Johnson and they stomped Boise's ass. There is just too many ways Masoli can beat Boise and he exploit them
Boise lost that game in a bowl in Hawaii, they were missing Jeremy Childs, Ian Johnson and two starters on the d line. Boise lost by 3 points on a late field goal hardly a stomp. Boise Lost to a good Boston College team in the Humanitarian Bowl and to a top ten Washington st team in 99. I dont care what teams you play, losing two game in 10 years is still quite the accomplishment

Bibendi23. I can still see that you are in love with your good luck tram of Reese Witherspoon, not bad. Also congradualtaion on the great season this year i vowed after last season to stop trying to pick on my ownand i was just going to follow you. Couple of questtions on your picks.
1) Do you see much line change before kickoff with NC State as i is already up too -4, if so would it affect your play.
2) LSU is at 16.5 and i think this will continue to increase. Do you think washington can really hang with this much atalent even after getting a coach who'e best comment so far was that his players will be far beter "motovated and conditioned."
3) I am an alabama fan and will be at the V- Teck game. I think the loss of evans is really going to hurt virginia teck this game. I do think the spread is a little high and our quaterback is very untested but i can;t see va-tecks offense coming out strong without evens taking pressure off of the rest of the offence. My question is wheather lossing evans in this case makes it a no bet or whearther you are still on them.
(sorry about the spelling)

Nice post. Can you share some of your thoughts on FSU-4.5. I've been researching this one for a while and I'm really liking Miami. FSU has a great offensive line but I think Miami ranks higher than them in every other position grade. Miami is young, but I think they have the talent to pull a ML victory here. Any thoughts man?
Thanks, The Germ

Had 2 specials against them last year and hit em both
I think the UNDER will cash, but I don't like the VT play at all. They absolutely will NOT win this game. The only question will be by how much Bama wins. Bama's defense will be absolutely ridiculous this year, and VT's offense WILL NOT score more than 10 points in this game. If they find the end zone, it'll probably be the defense or special that gets there.

Will look forward to betting the Buckeyes atleast once this year
Perhaps I should clarify, guaranteed in the sense that they will be on my card, not that they will be winners.
I wouldn't take Buckeyes week 1. I don't think Tressel will run the score up on Navy nor do I think he plans on doing anything special before the USC game. Slow paced game with a lot of clock being used, probably take the Under as well. Save all the tricks for week 2. Leanin Navy week 1.

I know you are a Va Tech grad, but this game looks good to me. My book has Va tech +7
Like the fack that Taylor QB and Evans RB are back and Bama is playing a QB that only threw 11 passes last year. This will be McElroy QB first start and the fact that it is the first game, he could be nervous
On a neutral field in Atlanta I like your hokies.
Looks low scoring ( 38 O/U )
Could be an upset special
