Have to agree with you on both. I've so much about Tulsa this and Tulsa that, who have they played? to get so much public support. You are exactly right with this game being just like last nights game, except this one Ball State wins straight up, I do not know how they capped this game so high, Ball State is not Tulane... BOL!

Its simple how the oddsmakers capped it...
1) Oddsmakers obviously liked Tulsa a little....But they had to open up Ball State as a small favorite (-2.5) because they are nationally ranked, and Tulsa is not, and the public always bets ranked teams.
2) Ball State has gone over a ton of times on ESPN prime time games (everyone remembers Ball State as an OVER team...even though these overs were in the 50's). Tulsa has the reputation due to having top 10 offensive statistics that media would focus on. Therefore the oddsmakers were forced to jack up the total. Problem is that sharp players weren't fooled at 77 and weather furthered the issue.
