Ugly looking picks.  Obviously winners!  Those five point spreads are always telling.  Just not sure what they tell.  Keep up the great work and thanks for your trouble

Afraid to jump off the fade UCONN bandwagon, lost three weeks now to play them would worry me but like the pick. If they lose you know its cause i took them this week instead of against!

Here is what it says about those games:
 
Vandy (+3.5) vs Kentucky  -   Ky 21  Vandy 31
California (+3.5) vs USC -   Cal 20  USC 18
Kansas St (-7.5) vs Nebraska  -  Kan St 46  Neb 21
Wake (+8) vs Clemson  -  Wake 19   Clemson 26
 
Notice it is kansas state not Kansas this week Red.  Good luck!

Sorry for delay getting back to you all, was drug out of town by the wife the last couple days.
 
First off, though it wasn't one of my picks for the week, i really felt robbed/raped/used with my CMU/WMU bet.  I was however, glad to wake up and find out I gave 2.5 points and not the 3 like I thought, but still, that game going over....so disappointing.
 
Anywho, it's thursday now and time for the first pick of the week.

Zona -  yes there is a certain subset of the underdogs which I have the computer spit out.
 
Outside parameters:  Played with the parameters and raised the point allowance in differential of the games and I quickly lost 10% more.  So I do have it optimized right now with the current differential parameters.  So not that Vandy is a bad pick, but it is not a great pick, but it is outside the optimized parameters.
 
Folks, there is a computer pick for every college game every week, however, if they are not in the top post, then they are not the computers favorites.  What does that mean...well, it's a drop off from the 80% down to about 50%.  So I could tell you all the other games, but it won't help you any.

Yeah Horned Frogs!! Hoping it goes back up to 71/2, so I don't have a Bama repeat......My local book doesn't do the buy back point/hook.....Your parameters are working just fine!!!! Thanks for all the hard work!!!!

Hey ATC - your puter program sounds like its over my head but I do understand why you only take the ones within your parameters.  was wondering if you have noticed trends of teams or situations where the Puter is wrong 80% or more?  Could be good picks to bet against the Puter.

ATC....your program requires the user to have discipline...what it spits out is what it is....as much as we would like a certain game , it may not be a good fit....last week I would never  have played those picks... it is like playing the "don't pass" line in craps...however, using a little "discipline" proved to be rewarding....thanks again for your outstanding efforts and posting...starting with TCU

ATC....how do you decide which games to take or not, for example you have vandy winning by 10...why are you not taking them as a home dog against kentucky?   also, any insight into the louisville WVA game tonight appreciated

Just so u know.  I took a team minus 12 that went to overtime and won.  My team score 7 then interceped a pass for a touchdown for the cover.  Very lucky

If im not mistaken, the rules changed several years ago in overtime, you cant intercept and run it back for a td anymore if you are ahead in overtime. My cousin won a game like that several years ago,  also like that.
