Anyone understand why they added a second back on the Michigan game?

The ball didn't even look like it was touched before it hit 0:00.

Kalshi...for the refs. Pretty bad call imo.

They also gave Mich an extra sec , from 8 to 9...

yeah pathetic .  And I had no money on the game 

ya the ball was still airborne at 0:00. Doesn't make any sense.

 The 8 back to 9 I understood - but 0 to 1 sec - that’s  BS .    

 Ball was first touched OB with no time on the clock 

Most BS game of the day goes to obviously this game

And? There is no rule stating that if the ball is airborne into expiration and it hits a player, the throwing team is awarded an add'l play.

 They pay zero attention to the clock all game and they then decide at  .08 to add another second. Why?

Just a horrific call. I feel so bad for those kids.

The defensive player from the Broncos went out of bounds and came back in and touched it with one second left. BS call but I saw the replay

  They actually threw that lie in the trash and began a new one. Their NEW reason is that all the clocks on the field and TV are actually wrong, and there is a secret ref clock that is actually .5 seconds more accurate. So when the Bronco player touch the ball there was .5 seconds on their ref clock.

Who I really feel bad for is whoever had WMU ML. Now that's a BAD BEAT.

The second likely went back on for the same reason that the refs don't immediately blow the whistle when the play clock hits "0."  It takes a second (quite literally) for the second to drain to zero.

There was defensive pass interference right in front of the player who touched the ball on that play.  Michigan receiver was tackled before he had a chance to jump to make an attempt.  Football justice, one more play was warranted.
