appears bodogkilla (a.k.a. one year wonder as 18-19 yr old back in 2006 on covers) went to another large forum in 2007 (i guess we're not supposed to name, rhymes with mapping the something), now just uses the screen name 'killa' and posts mostly in general discussion, no football picks found for last year, appears mostly into NBA going 88-71, from one his post below in Aug 2008 it does not sound like he was exactly preparing for CFB season or making much money from capping or anything else, yet another example how far one good year takes you in this business
It's not really a road-trip, in the sense that I have no date I plan on coming back. I'm just in this weird state of mind right now. I'm feeling like I can't stand another day of this excessively sheltered-cautious-structured-tedious life I have going right now. I graduated a year ago, I haven't found an entry-level job yet, still working miserable retail. I'm way too locked in to my routines, i.e., watching the same fucking TV shows every night, following the same minutia of news and politics every day, never leaving this town, seeing the same people, etc. I just want to bust out, not worry about missing the latest political news or not being able to check my fucking e-mail, and just live a little. Get some adventure, see the West, meet some people, bounce around, work some odd jobs, take some risks.
Oh yeah, this chick who likes me, A LOT, is literally pleading with me to let her come. Benefits of bringing her would include: her 2007 car with GPS to drive, her laptop, her $, and her contact in Cali with whom we can crash for a few days or weeks. Downsides include: the proverbial trip to "find oneself" is usually a solo one, and I can't meet any girls on the trip if she comes.
I haven't decided yet.
