I know...a lot of people hate him and think he's a tool. But every Wednesday he gives his "hurdle play" which is a big dog putting up a fight and covering the spread. He's nailed so many of them this year. Last week he had TCU. He also had Navy against S.Carolina, Michigan St. against Wisconsin, Toledo against Ohio State and a bunch of other really nice hits.
If anyone heard his pick this week? I'd really appreciate it.

Sparky, not a 100% sure on this one but I think he may have picked Colorado to cover against UCLA. Again, not 100% sure but I think I remember him talking about that game.

brett: That probably is it. He usually has a "look ahead" angle in his plays and UCLA goes to USC next week. I'll wait to see if anyone else heard that but you're probably right. Thanks for the help.
CIRE: I actually find him entertaining and I enjoy listening to him. He has his views and he stands by them. And for some reason...people don't like that. And he's killing it on both his hurdle plays and blazing 5 plays this year.

They're different. He has his "blazing 5" picks on Friday. Those are everywhere. But he always picks a big dog in college football to keep the game close with their opponents. Those aren't included and I googled the shit out of this topic and couldn't find anything.

I would disagree with the Colorado play, UCLA is fighting for everything in this game needing that "must-win 6th game". I think they know the USC game will be tough thus putting everything they got vs a weaker opp in COL. I wouldnt risk money on either one of these teams but I know damn sure I would never bet on CU facing an opp in a must win situation. Ask yourself, UCLA -11? come on, I think Vegas knows the public will be on CU + that many points, why is the line so high, probably because UCLA wins by 14-17... Just saying.....

powerade...like I said...it's not the blazing five. There's a reason why you're only finding those picks. Those are easy to find. His "hurdle play" isn't involved in that.

cire, i just said it makes sense b/c before colo played ariz last week they played 5 straight "hard" games, and when they got to play ariz they destroyed them. UCLA is a avg team. To me when two avg conf teams play each other I would take the double digit dog. Colin made comments on them i just had the kids in the car and they wouldnt shut up so i couldnt hear it all. I'm about to post my picks. They will lead u to the promise land

I agree with jrhd, this is really a no play.

I actually think the opposite. I don't think the public sees a card and says "Wow, Colorado has value". And UCLA is UCLA. They get better spreads because of their name alone. Look at how their basketball season has gone.
