Yes I remember the LSU game like it was yesterday---Snead was
that good and was the difference maker---Plus the coaching
sneaks in a couple of trick plays!!

Well I have the game capped around 23-24 points, which would indicate no to your question, but anytime you can get around a big number like 7 in football you better do it...in your case if you could get it down to 16.5 that would be better obviously then having 18...what is it going to cost you in juice to go down to 16.5?

-142 at 16.5 .... the line has been jumping on my books but your absolutely right ... the magic number is 7 in football if i can stay away from that it's a great thing ... probably wait till game time and buy the points ...

wow....buying points is just not good when you have to pay that kind of price...if you wait any longer I am afraid you are going to have to pay even more...try getting another book in the future.

i know i hear i'm calling around to grab another local book ... the line is brutal at 16.5 .... i might as well lay the juice and make a little less ... i dislike my local book ...

GL Mr. Headache but it seems like ur only on Ole Miss because of the O line and the D line of Ole Miss as opposed to the line of Memphis. You are forgetting some huge factors in that this game is being played in Memphis in a huge rivalry not to mention the stud running back that Memphis is returning.  I know they only have one returning starter on that O line but they also have a QB who is very good.  Honestly i see this game being won in the single digits and potentially a outright win by Memphis.  GL though and great start to the season.

Very high expectations and pressure for these kids.  They played well last year because they were the under the radar type team.  They were 3-9 in 2007.  Now because they got hot at the end of last season they deserve to be ranked #8?  This their highest ranking since 1970?  Now they have to go on the road in a game that is for the most part a close affair throughout the series.  It's too many points.  The offensive line is a real issue, but they do have a good RB and a mobile enough QB and their core WR's  back to be able to make some plays.  This line is way too high.  This line has never been even close to this much chalk...especially on the road.  These Ole Miss kids will probably nut up at the end to win this game, but I don't believe they cover this very large, high expectaion, crazy public perception spread.

Before their 6 game win streak Ole Miss' defense that has 8 returning starters let up 20, 24, 30, 23, 10 (Samford), 28, and 24 (Memphis).  So they got hot because they were loose and there were no expectations put on them.  They were in a groove and hit a stride and played well.   But this is the start of a new season.  That streak in a for gone conclusion.  Now they have to go into Memphis with a #8 ranking and a ton of pressure AND cover a huge spread.  I don't see it.

Nice run Mr. Headache.  I hope you keep it up but just not in this game, for my sake.  I actually took +18, so we both could still win, I guess?

Mr H, May I ask you a Q? If you say its too early to get a read on teams regarding O and U, how can you be so confident in a road play on a side, in a rivalry,with possible bad weather, giving a HUGE number? Jevon Snead will be worthless to his team in rain storms. I might want to be looking at the better running attack here.

Detroit you make a good point - they are not used to being such big favorites on the road and they did sneak up on everyone including florida.

Lot's of pressure here and I do not like the fact that the game is singled with everyone taking action

Typically I hate these kind of games with so much attention from bettors. But I have faith in Mr. H
so I will make a smaller wager just in case..

If, as you say, a Play of the Day will usually be around 5 units, does that mean you also have, say, one unit plays?
 
And if so, it would mean you believe a 5 unit play has a five times better chance of covering than a one unit play.
 
If that's the case, why not just post only the 5 unit plays?
