Qb isnt weak link. Have you watched an LSU game? Only people that are ignorant to sports would say that. He is only allowed to throw on downs that everyone knows he is throwing. LSU only runs 2 person routes up till this point. QB is hitting recievers in hands or chest and under pressure while doing so! He is extremely accurate. Recievers cant catch it or do so and fumble!! QB can only throw the ball! He cant catch it and run with it also!! He is not the weak link and BAMMER will find that out saturday night!! If the recievers can catch and hold on to ball and LSU's coaches let Met throw it they can light bammer up!! Hell sorry azz MS ST threw for 209 and should have had 350 yards.

what in God's name are you talking about Shark??? COACH???
the coach of LSU is Les Miles... i'm just pointing this out because i can't think of any other reason you would make this statement, except that you somehow don't know who the coach of LSU is...
did you not watch the National Championship game last year? that was the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP game... and he didn't give his team a fucking chance in hell of competing in that game...
Les Miles is worth 7 points to the other team... Les Miles is not one of the top 20 coaches in CFB... and he is operating without one of the top 50 QBs in CFB...
NO! LSU is NOT the only team that can beat Alabama... first of all, they can't beat Alabama... i assure you! second of all, there are 2 other teams in CFB that i would lay a TD with against LSU on a neutral field, without hesitation... and i WOULD win those bets...
i have no fucking idea what LSU team people have been watching this year... but based on their preseason ranking, this is the single-most over-hyped team i have ever seen in CFB...
you know what would be a competitive game? LSU vs. West Virginia... i'm not fucking joking... that is their competition level...
they are in so fucking far over their heads... and... am i worried about LSU's night time home record? yep... just as worried as i was betting against Andy Reid's streak coming out of the bye week... and just as worried as i was betting against John Skelton's unbeaten home record...
in other words... it don't mean shit, and it isn't gonna be even close to enough to give LSU a shot of winning this game...
ok my friend you want facts here are the facts that back up what im writting
" Since returning to the SEC in 2007 as Alabama’s coach, Nick Saban has won 39 of his 48 games against league opponents.
Four of those nine losses came in his first season at Alabama, and three were to the same coach."..LES MILES.... Miles beat Saban in back-to-back games in 2010 and 2011 (in the regular
season). It was the first time Saban had lost to the same coach in
consecutive years since his first two years at LSU .."
So im not speaking my ass out..like i usually do ..... and i will repeat it ..... Yes miles could or might know how to beat Saban and Bama ... but this year is a long shot .. thats why i said LSU has a 10-15% chance of winning in death valley ... and ive been watching the same LSU team you were watching ¡¡¡ im not betting LSU in fact you can be ver aware im betting the UNDER....

Apocalypse- Do you not think UF, USCe, UGA, LSU and 3 teams from almost every other major conference would be undefeated with Bamas current schedule. They're clearly the #1 team but top 5 of all time isn't flying when you have beat Michigan, Tennessee and MSU
FastEddie... i am usually the first one bashing Bama's schedule... but this isn't about schedule strength, this is about the eye test... i would venture to guess that this Alabama team would be at least a pick'em against any other team in college football history, in a simulated matchup...
Shark... i could not possibly care any less about history of this series, this matchup... i know all about all of those matchups... i am not a rookie, here... Nick Saban has never "lost a game to Les Miles"... Alabama has lost to LSU... and if Les Miles was coaching any program other than LSU, that stat would not hold up... you need to realize when it is the coach, and when it is the program... Alabama recent dominance is a direct result of Nick Saban's genius... any success by LSU in the past decade is a result of the fact that LSU is a perennial recruiting powerhouse... some of that may be attributed to Les Miles... but WHAT HE DOES ON THE FIELD DURING A FOOTBALL GAME IS FUCKING PATHETIC!
i guarantee you i can outcoach that mother fucker 100 times out of 100... he is horseshit, and you are stupid to wager money on any team he is coaching, no matter who the fuck they are playing... but especially when they are playing a team like Alabama...
i would not even consider taking LSU (+27)... i'm not kidding!
THIS LSU TEAM IS SHIT! you will be learning that the hard way this Saturday, if you put your money on them...
furthermore, for several years i have considered LSU to be the single stupidest team in football... i never see more bonehead plays then i do when i'm watching LSU football...
i am fucking ecstatic to have Alabama (-2.5) as the last leg of a 2-team teaser with the 49ers... it is a gift! but Bama (-9.5) is probably just as much of a gift... i truly can't believe that people who have watched LSU play "football" this year have the guts to put money on them this week...
you got more balls than me... but that's not necessarily a good thing in this game...

But if you think UM, MSU, Tenn, Mizzou, etc. are even close to LSU you're lost.
first off, i don't think too many people believe LSU is on the same level as the teams Bama has already played... but then again, Bama has been favored by 3 TDs+ on the road against all those teams... this line is 10-11 pts lower...
just out of curiosity, FastEddie... you've watched this LSU team... do you really feel proud of what you see? do you think this team is anywhere close to where the pre-season hype expected them to be? it's great to have loyalty, but at some point you have to be honest with yourself...
this team is a huge steaming pile of shit, and the only things you can count on from them are: (a) weak QB play... (b) terrible coaching decisions... (c) absolutely idiotic plays by their abysmally stupid players...
i don't feel like you can reliably count on their defensive play anymore...

So you can out coach someone who has won 80% of his games, right?
If SOS doesn't matter would it be fair to say that Col ST would pass the eyeball test against a HS team.
I'll give you -24, name your price. I'll deposit the money in a PayPal acct of the poster/mod of your choosing.
what kind of odds am i getting? i mean... do you think i'm a fucking retard... i can bet Bama (-9.5) anywhere in the world right now... why would i bet Bama (-24) with some dipshit on the internet?
i respected you RIGHT UP TO THE POINT WHEN YOU TRIED TO ACT LIKE YOU ARE A TOUGH GUY, BECAUSE YOU CHALLENGED SOMEBODY ON THE INTERNET TO BET YOU EVEN MONEY AND GIVE YOU AN EXTRA 2 TDs...
Covers.com audience... always be wary of anything that comes out of the mouths of people like this... they have no fucking integrity whatsoever, and if they have no integrity, it means they do not live in a world of reality...
and yes! i would win 90% of my games with the talent Les Miles... like i said... i would outcoach that sorry idiot 100 times out of 100, and i would stake my LIFE on it!
my football IQ is 2 standard deviations higher than his...

This LSU squad is still pretty stout defensively, but offensively they are not putting up the same kind of points that they were last year. I will definitely take advantage of the sole opportunity to get Bama at less than a 2 td spread this year and lay another big play on the under. LSU is my favorite college team, but they just have too many question marks offensively, especially at the QB position.

I do agree Bama wins this one but not by 27 pts...im saying by 2 td's.
Guys..LSU is a step down from last year. Their game against Texas AM showed it. The Tigers won that one off of 5 turnovers..and only won by 5 pts. With 5 TO's LSU only scored 24. That game showed me lots.

i'm fairly certain, that by name your price, what you meant was name the size of the wager... however, if you really meant my odds... ok...
since i am giving you an extra 14 points... odds should be in the 15:1 range, at the least... but i will generously only take 10:1 odds on that wager...
shall we say $100 to win $1000 for me (and vice versa, for you?)...
my bet: Alabama (-24) +1000 your bet: LSU (+24) -1000

oops! actually i don't think Covers tolerates wagers between people on their site... anyway, i wouldn't trust you to pay up if you lost, so i will refrain from giving you a no-lose scenario (i.e., i win, you don't pay... you win, i do pay)...
so just to clarify for any mods tuning in... we're just talking shit! no need to box anyone... just a bragging rights wager... however, this conversation has inspired me to toss some money on Alabama on an alt-line wager... i expect to see (-15.5) at a price of roughly +280... or else (-17.5) as high as +350 or so... sounds good to me!

You made an outlandish statement and I gave you a viable and more appealing number. Name your price, obviously means odds. As retarded as you seem I still can't imagine you would drop -24 on 10 cents juice, but there's a first for everything on covers.
Terms seem fine. How would you like to go about working it out. Surprised you're willing to wager w/ someone with no integrity.

I study LSU more then anyone and, thats a fact... Everyone even LSU posters trashing Zack M... he does need alot of work but, These LSU WR's are something else man.. I listen to Landry talk the guy acts like a clown... Odell dropping passes like the ball is burning his hands... None of the wideouts getting any seperation.. LSU wtf,, i want someone to go on the LSU forum and tell these guys to step up.

Yes, they have had some injuries at the OL, but they have plugged in three talented replacements that have helped LSU put up big rushing yards the previous two games as well as protect Mettenberger. Alabama is a stiff test for this OL, but they will perform better than most expect.
LSU defensively is one of the most talented groups in the nation not named Alabama. The DL is still rugged with two DEs who are both projected to go Top 10 next year and 4-5 interior DTs who rotate throughout the game who are studs. At LB, Kevin Minter is a beast and is moving up the draft boards with his play this year. When he went out due to cramps vs UF, it showed with the two TD runs by Gilleslee. The other LBs are young and fast. The secondary is also stout, even with the loss of Claiborne and the dismissal of Mathieu. Eric Reid and Craig Lost are excellent at the safety positions and CBs are top tier SEC guys: Tharold Simon and Jalen Mills. Several young safeties and CBs have played significant important minutes to date.
The key to the game is this: Alabama will not have much success running the football. The game will be decided on McCarron's accuracy and timing and whether the DL can put consistent pressure on McCarron. The disruption of Alabama's passing game can be accomplished either by rerouting the Alabama WRs at the LOS or moving McCarron of his spot when he completes his drop. If LSU does neither, he will throw to spots to open WRs regardless of the coverage. A perfect throw/route will defeat perfect coverage 9 out of 10 times.
Let's also look at the history between these two the last 6 matchups: Saban/Miles is 3-3 against each other with Miles winning in 2007, 2010 and 2011 with Saban winning in 2008, 2009 and the BCSNCG. The total score of the games is Alabama 133-110 which over 6 games is 21-18 or so.
This game is in Baton Rouge and will be the first true test for this Alabama team and there will be 92K (me included) trying to affect this game from start to finish.
The game will be decided by 1 score either way: 17-13 or so. The difference is whether or not McCarron handles the biggest road test of his young career. If he plays well, Alabama wins, if he struggles, Alabama loses.
