Good luck, but actually I prefer to pick against teams that started out strong and then limped to the finish line such as UTEP.

I don't know who covers but I do know Boise will come out absolutely motivated. Pissed and ready to take it out on somebody might be a better way of saying it. The Northern Illinois game might be a good example. They both lost to a team they had no business losing to and the next game they were out to crush their hapless next opponent. Having said that Utah is way better than Fresno State but then again Boise is way better than NIU.
Hate spotting that many points, hate it. Boise small for me.

I hate it too, but I sort of look at this way. Once Boisie state gets up by 14 in the first half, then the spread is really 3 from that point forward......just my crazy thinking.....good luck ![]()

You know the Vegas thing is a really good question, but I'm assuming the coaches have this under control. It would be great to know which team was smart enough to have a plan in place prior to going into Vegas to keep the distractions down.

You are correct I very rarely play over/under as I'm not very good at it, although occasionally I have to on Iowa since I'm a homer and won't bet against them.....typically.
1H's I do play from time to time, and if I do I'll put in my thread and typically about 30 minutes before game time as it takes longer to cap/find information to verify my play.

I see the questions regarding weather all over the place, so I thought I would share my thoughts since this seems to be a legitimate concern out there:
I think one of biggest myths about bad weather is that it leads to less points. This can be true for extremely windy days, but not for rainy or snow days. To me it's because the defense has to react to what the offense is doing.
It's much harder for a defensive back to change directions with poor footing, so their is an advantage in the passing game there.
Poor weather can also lead to more turnovers, usually meaning good field position and more scoring opportunities. Bad weather games can actually lead to more points scored.
If it's raining and the footing is bad look at the following:
On the season which team has the turnover advantage.
I lean towards passing and uptempo teams vs. run it grind it teams. Much bigger advantage to passing/uptempo teams.
Bottom line for me:
If my capping/thoughts tell me Boisie State can cover a -16.5 spread on a good weather day, than this only helps my feelings stronger that they will have an advantage tonight if the field is poor.
