Does anyone remember a higher game total posted? I remember last year when Oklahoma State played Baylor (top two shootout machines) and the total was 80. I'd feel more confident with those two than WVU/Baylor of this year.
Then there was Louisville/Boise State in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl of 2004 back in the Stephan LeFores days when the posted total was 82.5. It was 7-3 early in the second quarter and then thanks to back to back kickoff returns for TD's and after a couple of failed 2-pt conversion attempts in the 4th, the final score was 44-40.
There was also a lot of 77's in 2008 in Houston and Tulsa games (they all broke the 90) as well as Baylor and OSU games of last year. Lots of games went into the 90's or more.
If a total is set that high it's usually because books can't set it high enough to balance action and the projected score is usually 14+ higher.
So WVU gets in the 50's and Baylor in the high 30's/low 40's ?

Theres no such thing as a lock but I'm pretty comfortable that 100 points will be scored in this game. The longer Baylor hangs around the worse it will be as West VA will keep scoring.

So is there a pick in here or just thoughts? I read what you write in a lot of other good folks threads and it is all about bashing their thoughts and picks. Are you officially backing the under or over?

Does it really matter if I have any money on the game or how much?
I won't tell people my bets in here because clearly this is one of the world's biggest sports gambling forums and I don't want Vegas to know what I'm betting and how much. They could rig the game against me.
