won by bowl g.o.y last year with lsu over notre dame in a blowout and i expect the same here. NO man, and i mean NO man was more important to his team tis year than dennis dixon was as evident in oregons last 3 games of the year, all su losses. leaf is terrible at quarterback, and the only other option is a freshman platoon. they played decent in the rivarly game against oregon state but even that was not enough. the defense is average and this team away from home is not quite the same. they will try to pound stewart, the only problem is south florida will be waiting for him. they have fast linebackers and will make the qb beat them. on the flip side south florida finished very string winning their last 3 and averaging 47 points in the process. they have one of the most balanced offenses' in football averaging 228 yds in the air and almost 200 on the ground. i love their qb in grothe, ive seen him play many times and this kid doesnt have the best numbers, but he is a winner and always seems to come up with the big play. look for oregon to fall behind early and have no one at qb to keep in the game.
