I love that Stanford bet. Those are great odds and I agree with you about Luck. I think he is on the verge of being a special player. I'm getting down on that one right now. Thanks for pointing it out.
Luck should have to ut the ball in the Air a little more this year with Toby Gerhart gone ...
The O-Line will be better....
Some Much talent devolping ...AT TE and WR
At 10-1 Why not ... The Cardinal are my second choice in the PAC10 right now, but if they get some breaks 7-2 or better might WIN the PAC10 this year/// Maybe even 6-3

Hey Double when I put in my Stanford bet I noticed that Va Tech was +500 to win the ACC. I think those are some nice odds. What does eveyone else think?
I was a little stunned to see the Hokies and Heels both at +500
while Miami and FSU are both co-Favs at +250
The ACC Road schedule will not be easy at BC, at NC St,at UNC and at Miami
MIght be Better Value in BC at 10-1 or more

Why not at this Price for a small wager.....If the Neers win the BE and only lose 1 game they might have a chance/snowball at playing in the Title game
Stanford 175-1
$6 to Win $1,050
just for chump change... One of my Favorite teams to root for this season
Boston College 150-1
$6 to Win $900
again just a shot in the Dark ....

Just between you and me, I don't know what I'm talking about and you want me to predict your team will stink, so they'll win 10+ games.
I have nothing against Kansas St and I wish them the best of luck this year.
But you asked me for my reason, so I'll give it to you.
I'm not sure if Snyder still has it (over 70 years old), and the QB Coffman is pretty bad. I give them a 50% chance of getting a bowl bid even with a fairly difficult schedule.
My team (Cal) has had good talent the last 3 years (since Rodgers) except for lousy QBs, and I've seen how hard it is to win that way.
10+ games...I wish. Ain't gonna happen yet, but it will.
Age is a concern for the long-term with Snyder, no doubt. But as far as the direction of the program, things are aces right now.
You mentioned Coffman. My prediction, Coffman will start the non-con, as it's Snyder's way (upperclassman, he will get a shot unless he totally pukes his practice reps away). He will be replaced by...a WR! Collin Klein will replace him. Zero experience at the QB spot in D1, but Coffman is that bad. Klein is a really good athlete. Given the running game Snyder is about to roll out, the Cats can get away with it this season. The QB spot will be limited, but it shouldn't be a liability.
Do not be shocked when the Cats contend for the North. It's a stretch to win it ( new DC...new DL), but possible, given the weakness of the rest.

Man, I might be going out on a limb...but I can see it. Mangino had the thing running pretty well, but it depended on some very key things that have evaporated. CU has some consistency. Not sure what that's worth right now, but if you gotta hang your hat on something...the playbook remains the same.

Missouri looks really good this year, with a very strong corps of QBs. They are my top ranked team in the B12 this year, because they dominated their main competition Nebraska last year. Like them at +200 to win the North
Iowa St also looks improved from a team that surprisingly won a bowl last year, especially if Arnaud or another QB steps up. Bowl practises last year are going to pay off this year. I still want +1500 to win the North
Kansas Turner Gill is 100% more positive than Mangino, and I think they have a good chance to be good this year if a QB steps up and will be very good when Turner's recruits arrive in force. Gill is a legend in B12 country. Like them around +1000 to win the North
Nebraska should be very good again, but they really need to score more points. It is very tough to repeat allowing only 10 PPG, especially when you lose Suh off the unit. I'd want +250 to win the North but I won't get
Kansas St - Bill Snider is a HOF coach, but he is very old and the game may have passed him by. I don't think the program is headed in the right direction and Snider will not be coaching this team in 3 years.
Colorado looks horrible, and the coach is a longshot to finish the year.
Agree on Missouri SOME ,...Leaning on them but would want +350 or more to win the North....
Schedule could be Brutal ......starting Game 6
at A&M
vs Oklahoma
at Nebraska
at Tech
vs K St.
at Iowa St
at Kansas....
NU will win the North because they have the best defense and 5-3 will win the North. Cody Glenn may be a real difference maker at QB. Do not see them being that bad on offense two years in a row.
KU has Torbush is their DC. He has no idea how to defend the spread. They will be 4-8 or worse.
KSU will win 7+ games. Snyder knows how to coach.

Nebraska clearly should be the FAVorite for the North....I would still want 2-1
I wish the Qb sit was figured out ....
Not willing to put a penny on the Huskers at even money /+100 to win the NOrth .... No Value imNHO

what you think about my boys this year? Our Running game will only be behind Bama.
We do have to go into Bama, into tOSU, into Iowa
Penn St
.
Point Spread Numbers 75-87.5
Current PS# 82.5
Pos. Total 65.8
QB 6.5 RB 9.3 WR 7.8 OL 8.6
DL 8.7 LB 8 DB's 7.9 Coaching 9?
Schedule
Young St W30+
at Alabama L9+ Might be tempted to take PSU with DD's
Kent St W20+
Temple W20+ every year many hype the Owls as the MAC's best...seems like it's never gonna happen
at Iowa L6+ 2-8 vs the Hawkeyes in last 10... Have not won in Iowa city since 1999
Illinois W16+
at Minnesota W10+
Michigan W7+
Northwestern W13+ beat the Wildcats 34-13 in the same spot LY(before Ohio St)
at Ohio St L10+ would need 13+ to go ATS
*Indiana W6+ (Landover) Might be a bad spot for the Nittany Lions... would Love to Catch the Hooisers with 14.5+... PSU is 0-3 ATS vs Indiana the Last 3Y.
Michigan St. W13+
9-3 38.5%
8-4 28.5%
10-2 21%
7-5- 7.5%
11-1+ 4.5%
Losing 4 of their 5 Top Tacklers from LY
Never was a big Daryll Clark fan, But there should be some Growing pains with Kevin Newsome
Losing BIG10 DPOY Jared Odrick could be too much for the D-Line to overcome, even with all the talent ...
10-6 ATS the last 2 years vs the BIG10
8-1 ATS as a Road Fav the last 2 years
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

I Like OU to win the South and Nebraska to win the North.Just can't get a good feel for KU. Mangino took this team to places they weren't used to going and now the expectations are so high that a couple early losses and they may tank.

The Kansas Bet is more of a donation to Turner Gill really the Greek).. $30 is the Most I would waste in this spot ....especially at 5-1...the real odds should be more Like 10-1+ or more... Right now I Have the Jayhawks 5th in the North ...
Oklahoma looks really strong (on Paper)... If Stoops shits the Bed so will plenty of my Futures wagers ....
Good to hear from you Brother
