Waiting to see that HUGE play on the Championship Game. 

Meanwhile, I like the SC play.  Uconn was good home team but struggled on the road.  SC played Florida real tough and we saw last night how good Florida truly is.  Beating Clemson in the final game and the fact that Spurrier is "excited" to be in this bowl should give SC all the motivation and momentum they need to win by 2 scores.

Hey PlacinUnits,

Since I have seen you picking team totals in the bowl games, have you looked at the TX Tech team total?

Mich St has one of the worst pass defenses in the country, is missing their best cover corner (along with 10 other players suspended for this game) and T Tech has a strong passing game.

Like the T Tech total 33.5

What do you think of the Ark/ECU game if it was 6.5?  I'm thinking of buying a point at my book.

Wow.  South Carolina is a horrible football team across the board, including the senile ol' man who should be laid out to pasture for his antics.  What a horrible way to give back my winnings.  Sorry about such a bad pick.  I am hoping Okie State and ECU get it done for me today.

These are my final two picks for the year...huge monster plays.  I believe both teams win SU, or do not lose by more then a field goal.

Not sure why so many backed GA Tech tonight.  I said it once and I'll say it again...(too late now though), don't sleep on the BIG 10.  I think they covered more this season then any other BCS conference.

Anyway...people have short memories.  Iowa went down to the wire with Ohio State at their place with their back-up QB.  Scoring on GA Tech is not a skill...Vandy, Wake Forest, etc. all proved this.  On the flip side, the Iowa defense is stout. 

I have tried to tell people...take the defense.  These teams have had three or four weeks to create an offense for one single game and both Iowa and Nebraska proved they can do it...defense didn't need work.

Now, with that said...good luck on Bama everyone.  They have defense...but so does Texas.  Remember, Bama put up huge offensive numbers against LSU, Tenn (that was impressive in retrospect), Auburn, etc.

Just my opinion.

I hope I helped a few folks out this bowl season.  Good luck with whatever else you bet.

I'm going LARGE on Texas if I can get +5 or higher...I'll be back to post that if I can get the line...let the public try and recoup their TCU and GA Tech losses on Bama and give me the line I need.  If can get +6 and buy a point to +7 (it's possible, look at the line with Florida last year the day before the game)...then I will need to speak with my equity line officer at the bank ASAP.

Nothing like a little square action tonight, favorite and the easy over...I have to wonder how many times that happens in the GMAC bowl.  I am not into conspiracy theories, alright...but nothing better for Vegas then giving out some money tonight to increase bets on tomorrows big game.

I'm throwing this out there...just because I can't prove it, doesn't mean it isn't possible.  You give out plenty of money tonight to the public on the OVER and FAV and perhaps you assume they statistically are more likely to play those same sides tomorrow night, considering how this Bama / Texas perception has been built up ever since SEC / Big 12 Championship weekend. 

Just a random thought...anyway, I have already posted my final play but will likely update the thread with the total bowl recap just to see how it all panned out...honestly, I haven't kept great track, all I know is that I am nicely positive for the bowl season.

I reckon you can read the sh_t eatin' grin I got on my face.  Tell you what, I took some tough beats this bowl season and still came out strong.  Last year's bowl season, I got every single bounce.
