" . . . NC will pound their asses." If this was a gay porn competition then yes UNC would win, but it's not it's a basketball game. Therefore, Kansas all the way.

Bill Self has made the Final Four for the first time despite having more than enough talent to do so in multiple previous years. His ability to recruit top talent has helped cover up his coaching flaws, which have been clearly evident in the Big Dance, including the last game. The road stops stop here against better players and a better coach.

It might as well be, Kansas asses will be hurting after the pounding they will take on Saturday. bigSLC...good point on the coaching aspects of this game. We have the legendary Roy Williams going up against..........Whats his name...o yeah.....Bill Self. Self was out-coached so bad against Davidson it was sick. Besides Curry, Kansas had superior talent at every position...and they squeaked out a win. This is the big time now boys......The Fire Power of NC will do them in. If they thought Davidson was tough, wait until they see the best team North Carolina has to offer. Those midwest boys are about to see ACC power at its best. They better eat their corn...LOL

Before you write off Kansas be aware that UNC only beat Davidson earlier in the year by 4.
Davidson was much better than their "10" rank indicated. Davidson are rock solid defensively and have a game breaker in Curry. Kansas is silky smooth at every position and also they have an upper ranked D, that which UNC can't really claim to unfortunately. I am taking 3 points and also riding KU SU here. Public will eat up Psycho T bullshit but ultimately he is more of a 'worker' than a true talent...reminds me of Joakim Noah on steroids...

Kansas to win it all.
SilBacks, good point about that Davidson/UNC game, BUT remember that was UNC's first game of the year, and the game was in Davidson, not at a neutral site. Another think KU backers should be touting is the fact that this game will be in SAN ANTONIO, which is considerably further away from Chappel Hill than either Raleigh or Charlotte. UNC has looked dominant and completely unstoppable, but they've also been playing in their back yard.
However, It has been well documented that UNC is a better team after Lawson went down and returned. I would hesitate putting too much stock in that early Davidson game. I think there is something to the fact that Self isn't the same caliber coach as Williams. It would seem like a no brainer to try to use Sasha Kaun and Darnell Jackson and Darrel Arthur to pound away on Lovejoy, Boris Meno, and Thomas Sander. Instead Self seemed content to let Rush shoot long jumpers and let his big men pound the glass. I suppose I can't fault him too much because they won, but it shouldn't have been that close.
No one who saw Kansas beat Texas in the Big12 championship game will count them out of this game. If they shoot like that they will be playing Monday night, but the way Tyler took his team on his back against Louisville, and the way that UNC has looked in top form since Lawson came back (even before the ACC tournament) leads me to believe that Kansas will need nothing short of that type of performance to get past the Heels. UNC by 6.

looks like we got some conflict going on in here, but since the line is so low for UNC lets hope they can cover it, as a better i feel more comfortable picking UNC with just a -3, but as a fan i would love to see Kansas take it all the way. Seems like people are putting their personal preference in team before they think about an outcome in the game, small money on Kansas to win outright but bit more more UNC to cover. good luck everyone, by the way im pretty sure Kansas' guards could all handle Lawson, so if he gets shut down then i dont wanna hear any "he's still partially injured" or the refs are screwing them. Thats UNC fans trademark saying, i havent hear that more from anyone else.... so dont bad mouth teams, just make your picks.

I'm not a UNC fan at all, I just am picking them to beat a weaker team on Saturday. This game could be played in Kansas and i would still be picking the Heels. Look at the matchups closely. Louisville is a better team than Kansas..this one will be easier. Kansas inflated their record by beating up on crappy Big 12 teams this year, just like their Football team did. You remember what Virginia Tech did to them in the Orange Bowl??? LOL......ACC rolls big time here.

Plain and simple! UNC has proven they can win in tough enviroments on the road all season long. This team had no shot at winning the title until probably 6 or 7 games ago. There defensive presence has really shown since. If UNC continues to keep playing great team defensive they will roll in these next 2 games. I dont care who they are playing. Also Thompson has been the diffrence for them in the tourney. MEM will be the only team to challange them but they will get a wake-up call to UCLA in a grind out type of game i hope they cont. to make there freethrows because they will have to, to prevail in that game. Anyways UNC offensive scoring attack is to strong for the college level IMO. They score in bunches like an NBA team and i mean bunches. KU's only shot is if they can contain TY off the break and hopefully UNC "D" does not show up.

UNC has been fortunate enough to play EVERY game in this tournament so far basically at home..playing in Raleigh and Charlotte...when was the last time a team played every game in there home state up until the Final Four????......just b/c Kansas slipped by Davidson everybody is writing them off to lose already...lets not forget who Davidson beat to get to the Elite 8...Gonzaga, Georgetown, and a crushing win over Wisconsin....those seem like pretty legit teams to me...Davidson was a fast paced team who could play on both sides of the ball which allowed them to keep up with Kansas....I can't wait to see UNC show up in San Antonio with more fans rooting for their opponent for a change.......took Kansas to win it all in my bracket...and im not gonna stop now.....take the points and hoping this line goes up so maybe i can take Kansas ML as well...gimme those points.......Kansas +3..

Lets see how UNC plays away from home for the first time this tourney. If they play the way they have then this one is over, however thats what everyone was saying about Kansas. Should be a track meet either way and should go into the 180s. Over for me

Kansas will be ready. Jayhawks defense will be the key. UNC plays very little of it. I see the Heels getting out to an early lead but the Jayhawks close the gap and take it in the fourth... Best bet for me is the Heels at the half.

Here's what I don't get: Rock Chalk has given up no more than 61 in the tournie, is third in the nation in Def. Eff. (according to Pomeroy), and the list really goes on. How the hell is the o/u 169?! I know UNC plays and up-and-down style--as does KU in certain circumstances if prompted to do so--but these games all come down to defense as we know. This o/u just seems like it's ridiculously high, and I'm wondering if there is something I'm missing. I'm thinking that perhaps because of the two programs' prowesses they got a lot of respect by betters and many assume a high-scoring game; but something seems real off.
I'm laying a chunk of change on the under (hoping that my gut and common sense prevails over Vegas's ridiculously odd o/u), and probably going to set aside a small portion for a parlay with KU moneyline, rather than going for the backdoor cover.
