did you catch the northrigde/pacific championship game on espn2 the other night? apparently not. northridge had hard time scoring against pacific. they were making wild layups, hail mary 3's and everytime they drove to the hole out of control the refs blew the whistle. they wont score 40 pts against mempis. ill take memphis by 30+

The teams memphis has played they have only allowed 37 47 and one 60 pt games to the teams it has played how can anyone expect the tigers not to cover this
I have it at -19.5

I'm hoping the Tigers hold back a little here, look for Calapari to shuffle players in and out. I'll take the points.....
They won't be holding back...Caliparri may be playing it off, but they're Pissed about being a #2 seed (especially the players). I think Tigers backups will have their way with CS Northridge anyway. Buying 3 points...Memphis -16.5

I watched the csn/ pacific game, I had pacific. My last game on a 5 team parlay and csn burnt me. pac did take them to overtime, but csn handled them and fell apart late into the game, they also started off the game hitting 3 straight 3's and had a nice lead to start that game. pac. killed themselves early. The same thing will not happen against memphis. at first glance I liked csn. but after further thought.
MEMPHIS WILL GET THIS TEAM BY 20 +

JMO, but I think it will take a half for CSN to even figure out how to score against this team. I like the first half under and the game under. And if I like the under. I gotta like MEM. MEM 75 CSN 40 JMO GL to all.

gotta go with colonel jim here, i dont think memphis is that great, they have size but 20s alot of points. plus public loves the tigers.
There's a reason the public loves the tigers - look at their ATS record.
Northridge won't have seen a defense like this one this season - not even close.
As weak as Conference USA is the Big West is weaker. I went to grad. school at UC Irvine in '92 and the conference was weak back then when UNLV and New Mexico State were still a part of it and it's gotten worse.
The 4 other teams that got 20 wins in CUSA this season are all better that Northridge.
And if the first half is close, because both teams are tight offensively, the 2nd half won't be when Memphis' range, athleticism and relentless pressing defense usually wears teams completely out.
Calipari might pull the starters on the early side, but he didn't do it in the conference championship until there was about 3 minutes left in that game, even up 20 points against Tulsa.
I still say Memphis rolls and this game goes under - my only worry is that Memphis might score with such ease it rolls over anyway.
