I have this feeling that Arizona will stay close and close enough to cover the 9 pts. This game has backdoor cover written all over it.

I'll take Zona and the points, many experts thought they didn't deserve a spot in the dance.  Louisville would be wise not to look ahead, especially after Sienna.

You guys are nuts for betting the Louisville ML. It's -550. Do you really think that is good value?
 
Will the Ville win? probably. Do upsets happen in this tournament? Absolutely!
 
I'll take Zona and the points at -105 and maybe even the Zona ML just cause everyone is saying the L'ville ML is a lock.
 
Go ask the Uconn team that lost to George Mason a couple years back if upsets happen. Keep giving the books 5.5:1 on your money and see how long it lasts.

I already liked Louisville . . . alot, and then I heard this from the local radio guys at AM 570 here in LA, who covered the Pac 10 this season and whose opinions I usually find to be pretty sound. 

"Arizona is like a great American muscle car.  Match it against any other muscle car going in a straight line and it's got a great chance to run down any of them.  But as soon as you match it against a European sports car driving around in the mountains that has to make any kind of sharp turn . . . it's getting left in the dust . . . "

"Arizona's top 3 players are as good as any in the nation, but positions 4-12 . . . are absolutely worthless.  There isn't a greater drop off in depth anywhere in the tournament."

Louisville, we already know, is going to press this entire game, and in my opinion it's superior depth and athleticism, across the board, will keep this from being a close contest.

I don't just think the Louisville money line is a lock, I think Louisville minus the 9 is a lock.

The thing that scares me the most about Louisville is they just plain SUCK from the free throw line and we all know that in these kind of games that is where the spreads are won or lost. Louisville cost me in the first two games, first round -21.5, won by 20 (when all other #1 teams were winning by 30+), second round -9, they win by 7.
 
Don't know if I'm going to give them a third try or not.

it's a good thing not everyone in this forum are complete morons. i'm glad i ran across this take.  which makes perfect common sense. and thanks also to dodger blue for calling out angry tiger on such idiotic pretzel logic as well.  nothing in the betting world is a lock. and if you're too scared to lay the points, well then u shouldnt cough up so much dough on a straight up win.  it's a wuss move that will cost u in the long run. 

smart move in this game is to take the points.  public wouldnt be all over louisville if the media didnt hype them up so much.  in reality, louisville is not a juggernaut of a team and are very beatable.  their defense can be great, but u cant count on their scoring and their free throw percentage as a team is dreadful.  and WE ALL KNOW HOW IT COMES DOWN TO FREETHROWS IN THE BIG DANCE.

TAKE 9.5     GET PAID! 

I also wouldnt be surprised if Arizona pulled off the upset.......

THE BOOKS JUST DON'T THROW A NUMBER LIKE 9 OUT THERE SO SHARPS CAN KNOCK THEM OUT WITH LARGE BETS. I'VE BEEN KNOWN TO LAY 20G'S ON A GAME AND THAT'S NOTHING ???  THE NUMBER IS 9 FOR A REASON, MY THOUGHTS ARE TO WATCH THIS LINE MOVE, SEE WHERE THE BIG COIN IS. well, i dont think season records or stats really matter right now.  it's do or die so all that may be indicative of what could possibly happen, but it doesnt exactly spell what's to be played out on the court.  shots can go cold.  defenses can break down.  and those same kids that know theyre the heavy faves in the game start mentally breaking down.  ive seen it happen OH SO MANY TIMES.  that's why i like Arizona to cover.

if anyone read yesterdays post on the pitt-xavier game,most eveyone was talking abount how much of a lopsided game it was going to be,blowout was used a lot and one fool went on to say that vagas relley f--k up on this line.well i posted that just abount evey thing i look at had xavier makeing this a thight game; well i see the same thing happining tonight. arizona keeps this game under 10;hell it wasent that long ago when arizona beat u.c.l.a and usc back to back.takeing arizona +9.5 and the underfeed the dog
