I'm not sure Gonzaga would be considered a dark horse, they are rated in the top 5 in all the power ratings and what not and get all sorts of respect from the linesmakers. Also, both analysts on espn tonight (forget who, Franschilla was one of them), both had them in their final 4.

although they aren't really a darkhorse...I love Louisville. Earl Clark and Company can do it all, they may get a little sloppy come march because of their style of play but they are a good all-around team

Look no further than the main and tail of Arizona State.
Herb Sendek and his wicked defense, and a greatm up-tempo cast starring James Harden. If this team doesn't reach elite-eight status, considered me shocked.

I am only counting teams in the no.8 in the country and up. So, with that said, I would think Marq, Nova, ASU and the Zags for sure. As we all know its about matchups in the tourney. And also, as of late, Zags have been getting screwed on seeding. If any of those guys got the right bracket. As great as the top of the field is this year, we will definately not be seeing all the no.1 make it to the final 4 this year.

Xavier...Although, they were an elite 8 team last year, they still get overlooked for the most part, but this squad has a lot of depth (9 guys avg over 12 min) One of the best rebounding squads in the country( 37 a game)...can shoot the 3-ball with accuracy (39%) and are stingy on D (37% FG) and have a very underrated coach in Sean Miller, and you can bet after this year, some of the bigger schools will be reaching out to him
They've proven that they can win on the road vs quality squads(LSU) & they also have 3 solid wins on neutral courts (Memphis,Mizzoo,VaTech).....They only had one glitch on their schedule just before Xmas with losses to Duke & Butler....I dont see any more losses on their remaining schedule, in fact, theyve covered 8 straight ballgames, so this squad is on track as we head into February...Just hope they dont peak too soon.

webba, agree with xavier as a sleeper, and if they run the table in the atl 10., they should be a 3-4-5 seed. alot could happen but they are solid. i thought florida would be mediocre and their schedule wasnt real strong but i think they will continue to improve and donavan knows march. they are young but they can shoot and calathes looks confident in running the team. i wouldnt want to play them. i can see them winning a few , maybe 3 games. nice thread stuckey. good luck guys

Somebody is gonna bring up the supporting cast changing a bit, but is everyone forgetting the run Stephen Curry and the Davidson Wildcats made last year?? That kid is a winner period. Don't know that they will reach the Final Four, but I guarantee no coach in America wants to be matched up with them come March.
