Cornell definitely has a shot to win this game and I feel like they will cover 9.  Cornell is basically playing a home game, has four senior starters with balanced scoring and playing with house money. Kentucky hasn't been tested yet until the meet the BIG RED in the Carrier Dome.

    Cornell +425, 1 unit
    Cornell +9, 3 units

Why wouldn't one the the best 16 NCAA basketball teams have a shot at beating another one of the best 16 NCAA basketball teams? Seriously, I think there is a bunch of 12 year olds on this site sometimes!! If the bookmakers made this spread 2 who do you think people would take? If they made it 20 who would you think the bettors take?

The line on the BU/Moorehead St game was BU -1.5 and BU won by 2. Do you think the oddsmaker know what the hell they're doing?

Cornell Shoots Period. Not a streaky team and KY Well... Do they really have a great D?

    Nope

Kentucky is a defensive team, slick.  UK will pack the place too.

UK is 4th in FG% defense and Cornell isn't even top 100.  They're gonna have to shoot the lights out to stay in the game and really slow down the tempo.  Stranger things have happened for sure, it is March after all but Northern Iowa was able to pull it off because they can actually play defense.

I think we can all agree that in March anything is possible, just a matter of how probable.

If I'm a Syracuse fan, I care more about seeing Syracuse play than going to the UK game.

Goodluck to Cornell but I think the ride is over for them!  Cornell has no clue what they are in for against Kentucky!  Then again I'm the schmuck who thought the same thing about St. Marys vs Villanova!

BOL for those of you taking Cornell with or without points!

I am actually curious to see what the crowd will be like.  UK will get theirs, WVU travels well but I'm not sure what to expect out of Cornell (biggest game in their history) and Washington (doubt they bring many).  There will be several fanbases rooting against UK obviously, isn't college basketball just great

Also just throwing this out there to help my nerves in the days leading up to the game...

    12 v 1 seed games have happened 16 times.

The 1 seed has won every game and by a margin of 14.7 points.

EVERY #1 has at least one test before they win it all--NOONE EVER gets a cakewalk. EVER!!! Check the scores of past champions.

Kentucky's players are using this stage for an early exit to the NBA lottery, and they have 3-4 players that may go 1st rd. BUT--Cornell players know their system and they play it well, They are smart basketball players.

You will see these nba future superstars (if that ever happens--often doesn't) looking bamboozled by these "average players" who NEVER get publicity.

Also, this coach has been there only 1 year (a great coach of course).

I predict this game will be Kentucky's close scare they will have to prove they can win.

If not this one, then certainly WVA or WASH.

YES THEY HAVE A "SHOT"! The team might get the flu <LOL>,  no anything is possible, might all break their legs <LOL>! But with these one and done players, if not for "the one year college rule", these won and dunners, are Pro athletes. I started watching about a month before conference touneys, about 7 weeks, and I feel with them knowing Kansas went down, they will proabbly blow em out? Just my Opinion. If they are not mentally kissing that trophy! This tourney has been a ride! BOL Friends! PG   Holla BIGGEDD if you see this! Nite all!

Cornell will continue its good play, in fact I am going to put 5 units on the +9. Then I am going to put 3 units on the Moneyline +400. This Cornell team is very consistent, precise like a well oiled machine. They do not make many mistakes. If it were not for that brain fart at Penn this team would be at least a  5 seed and still be in the top 10. Kentucky is prone to make one too many mental mistakes. Cornell is also shooting a high percentage and will continue to do so. Please do not believe the hype. Vegas wants us all to believe that it will be a blowout with the inflated line, remember it is all about public perception!!!!!!
