Oh boy... let the Tyler Hansborough bashing begin... yet again...
Only woop would consider this bashing of Hansborough.
Laettner hands down was the better college player. There is a reason that many people often refer to him as the greatest or atleast one of the greatest college players ever. I do not think Hansborough can be part of the conversation unless he wins a national championship this year and possibly next year.
Psycho T has had a great career and can build on his success but I'm not sure he can ever be a top 15 or 10 college basketball player in its history.

Laettner was by far the better college player, Hansbrough works very hard but is very limited in his skills. It is worth discussing I suppose but unless Carolina wins this year and next, we usually judge players by championships so...and by the way Tyler has a little talent around him as well. GL

At this stage in Tyler's career, I would have to go with Christian. If Tyler wins it all this year and can repeat next year, that would be a good start. He also will need to continue to work on his outside shot, as we all know he will. He has shown in this Tournament and during the season that he can make the BIG shot and can handle the pressure. Staying one more year would give him tons of records that will back up his case. His passion for the game is AWESOME to watch! Despite what happens to his college career, I feel he will make a better pro. His go all out all the time style should make him a nice rebounder and then add his scoring ability.....He is definitely the more powerful player than Christian ever was. Christian played very smart though, but imo was not as athletic as Tyler is. I would say that Tyler is a faster as well ...speed wise.
