I hear ya buddy. I capped all the games more in depth than usual. So hopefully these are the winners. But I am cold. Hoping to bounce back tomorrow. I will stay at 1U plays until I hit a green day then I will double Units and then if I lose I will cut back. That is my plan. BOL hang in there. For every bad run there is a good to follow. Just ride the wave.

Good Luck, Illinois should be a good game. Like Dayton but could go either way, we see who shows up.
Hope you get it back on track soon.

Silbacks My opinion is Illinois wins by 8. I am so confident in my picks right now though I am betting 1U a game. lol. I think tomorrow starts my bounceback. I picked up a lot of bad habits on my winning streak and also lost a lot of discipline. Tomorrow I am going to get refocused and start over. BOL to you tomorrow!
spivince BOL tomorrow Buddy!
spartacus Yes they did get blown out last time out but I don't think they have forgotten that either. I think it will be a close game. I think it will be a repeat of The first game. Even though it was not in SMS. Here is my reasons I am on Creighton for what it is worth. It would not be a huge shock if I am wrong.
Creighton averages 70.1 points per game and shoots 43.6 percent from the floor, 33.5 percent from downtown and 71.9 percent at the line. It holds opponents to 68.3 points per game and 41.8 percent shooting. The Jays outrebound teams by 0.7 boards per game and has beaten nine straight foes on the glass.
The Bears lead the MVC in scoring offense (71.4 ppg.) and allow just 65.4 points per contest. MSU shoots 44.6 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from three-point range and 73.1 percent at the line.
Yes the percents are a little higher for The Bears but I think Bears will lead this game by 10 at some point. I also think Creighton will do same thing they did to fairfield. Rely on the bench to bring it close.
Creighton’s bench averages 26.3 points and 14.6 rebounds per game and is led by Cavel Witter (7.4 ppg.) and Ethan Wragge (6.8 ppg.). Redshirt freshman Josh Jones (4.2 ppg.) has also been a difference-maker of late, averaging 6.9 points in CU’s last 13 games. Wragge and Jones, however, have moved into the starting line-up for CU’s last six games, which has resulted in five wins.
I think this will be very close game. I also love the coach matchup for tourney play here
Creighton’s Dana Altman (Eastern New Mexico, 1980) is in his 16th year as head coach of the Bluejays. He owns a 327-175 (.651) mark at CU and a career record of 410-242 (.629) in his 21st year as a NCAA Division I head coach.
Creighton’s all-time winningest coach, Altman has been named national, conference, regional or district coach of the year in 10 of his 25 years as a head coach at all levels. The 2001 and 2002 MVC Coach of the Year was a finalist for the Naismith National Coach of the Year Award in 2003. In 2004, Altman was named the Collegeinsider.com Jim Phelan National Mid-Season Coach of the Year. In March, 2007, Altman was named a coach on the MVC’s All-Centennial Team.
Additionally, Altman has led Creighton to seven NCAA Tournaments and his teams have played in the postseason in 13 straight seasons. He is assisted by Brian Fish, Darian DeVries and Todd Eisner. Mike Jones is the team’s graduate manager.
Missouri State is coached by Cuonzo Martin (Purdue, 2000), who is 33-32 in his second year as a head coach. Martin was previously a star player and assistant coach at Purdue and played four years professionally. He is assisted by Steve Woodberry, Jon Harris and Kent Williams
I think the blowout was just a bad day for Creighton and will give them that much more drive to beat them which should keep them close enough to cover spread.
Creighton has also won 8 out of the last meetings against SMS
Well there are my reasons.....wrong or right thats why I am playing. BOL tomorrow. Just remember the pain from farfield...I think it comes again.
