Hey kapono I'm new to the forums but really can see the respect your thread generates. I like the idea of someone focusing in on one team instead of trying to weed through a list of 70 games. Pacific has moved to +8 at my book, and I'm gonna join in. Thanks for your analysis!

Whats the best line you've seen? I got 8.5 online and hoping it gets pushed.....  will wait to call the local til last minute....he always shades the fav.....

Let's just get these out of the way now...:

1. UCLA Bruins (TT) UNDER 71 (-110), 3.3 to win 3
2. Pacific Tigers +7 (-102), 4.08 to win 4
3. Pacific Tigers ML +265, 1.5 to win 3.975 unit
4. Pacific Tigers +7.5 (-102), 2.04 to win 2
5. Pacific Tigers ML+280, 1 to win 2.80

When you expect them to come out and run teams, they play extremely poor. When they are on a B2B, shorthanded, against a team that is custom built to give you problems, they shoot 55% from the floor hitting midrange jumpers in transition and shoot 5-10 from the three point line.

Sometimes I sit and wonder why I even put all the effort into trying to break down a game/analyze a spot or position only to have the exact opposite of what statistically and analytically should occur.

Either way, apologies to anyone who read this thread and took Pacific. I think everything lined up for them to be the right side... but I guess this is what happens sometimes when everything does seem to point in one direction.

Who knows, maybe we get a 41-24 2H where Pacific comes back to win by 1 after deciding to go zone every possession and hope UCLA cools off from deep.... looking highly unlikely but a guy can dream

Hey man, nothing in gambling is pre-determined (well almost nothing). I think it was sound analysis and a good play. So much so in fact that I decided to buy Pacific 2nd half (sorry to rub it in)...don't throwout your analysis just because the results arent showing up for you early.

Pacific going 3-21 from three... god, just a brutal beat. If they hit just a couple of those they likely cover. Those were some WIDE OPEN threes too.

Man, this was some sorry ass basketball.  I hope this shit gets better.  Even just watching this shit makes me want to turn off the T.V. this game was so boring.  Man is it me or is there less talent in NCAA this year?

Kap don't get discouraged.  You were right on with you analysis unfortunately for all Pacific backers you could not hit those threes yourself.  Remember this is a grind and don't let it get the best of you.  I always have and will look to your analysis of the Pac-10 and in particular UCLA before I place my bet.  If your analysis is completely opposite of mine I pass.  In this case I didn't play simply because of the late line movement and didn't know why.  You are certainly an asset and keep your head up.  BOL!
