kroger, you found one site saying 58% on uconn

i have answered about 20 calls. 17 have been on kentucky.

i have talked to 20 people ... most like kentucky.

in my world ... that's everybody.

oh, and as we know that 58% just means that 58 out of 100 took uconn. all of the money is going towards kentucky. that's why it will be up to 3 at the tip.

  The point spread went the opposite of what you said. It went from 2.5 to 2. So, I'm not sure how it's going to travel back to 3 by tipoff. The money is on UConn and the people are with UConn. The public is all over Uconn.

Dude, +190? They are +125 to win this game. Nothing against the IDEA of taking Uconn to win it all, but the true value of this bet is closer +250.

Win or lose, you got ripped off on +190, but GL.

Gotcha. Honestly, I just hate to see books taking advantage of bettors with futures lines that aren't really close to what they should be offering. But I can definitely relate to wanting to be with a good book.

rangerz, funny that you said that ... got me thinking. for a futures bet i should just shop for the best line and use any book. pay em how they want to be paid. probably worth it in the long run.

rangerz, i'm going to start ... just for futures. too big of a gap. 500 to win 1350 would be nice.  thanks for making me think about that. the 950 will do for now though.

Yea I've opened accounts with random books on many occasions with the intent of making ONE bet, and one bet only. It really does make a huge difference in the long run.

Just make sure you DO NOT take any bonus's if you plan on doing this. Get your money in, make your bet, win it, and get the hell out. No rollover bullshit.

Doesn't need to be said, but this is why you would have been better off either taking Uconn ML yest, or only do the future bet with fair market value. You would have won $625 already by betting the +125 ML yest. Instead you are looking at a $400 profit by hedging if you choose that route.

Tough call though.
