Even IF Uconn gets past Iowa State and that's a big if, and even IF they do somehow get past Kentucky, Wichita State will smoke them.

Since the start of 2012, uconn has beaten 2 tourney bound teams..Notre dame back in January, and west Virginia twice..kentuckys beaten Florida 3x, vandy 2x, and alabama..

uconn just isnt good enough but they do have the better coach.
not to mention ky could come out tight in this game with all the freshmen.

i do not think Ky can win it all but this doesnt look like an upset here.

 

First thing I thought of as well. I have watched UCONN enough to see a serious lack of heart. Kentucky doesn't have heart?? I'm sorry, but you don't win every game but 2 unless you have heart and you don't have probably the best defense in the nation without heart. I hope this match-up happens just to prove a point.

 

I think when all is said and done you will see the better conferences prevail. Big East has long been over rated and it will show once again. I'm not saying the SEC is all that because I think there are better conferences. Just saying the Big East is a fraud. By the way, Vandy is a very tough team and it was there 3rd time playing. You can try to talk smack about Vandy all you want, but you clearly don't know what you are talking about. They are going to be avery tough in the tournament and wouldn't be surprisesd to see them in the final 4.

Uconn should feel lucky to even be in the dance, even if they get past Iowa state which i doubt they do they will be embarassed by Kentucky.

Kentucky played a real easy schedule, they just beat unc, Kansas by 12, lousiville by double digits, beat a ranked Florida ten 3 times... its hard Yo beat a team three times and yes vandy wanted it more. UK is heads and shoulders above antithetical team in the tourney. Why don't you take a look at the Vegas odds for winning it all before you speak again. How could you assume a team w 3 d leauge nba players will beat uk who has the national player of the year and two other lottery picks... let me guess Andre drummpnd is going to learn how to shoot free throws and raise his 30%... yes I said 30 % average on the season... I'm pretty sure Anthony Davis not only shoots free throws above 70% but he also has more blocks than the entire uconn team. Uconn's would possibly win if UK only played three. UK played poor yesterday but that will only serve as motivation to stomp down any opponent that gets in their way. Do yourself a favor and look at what the "soft cats" did to teams after losing to Indiana... this team was dangerous riding their high, their lethal when tested... good luck losing your bracket pool.
