I'm going to the games at the Garden tomorrow night. I've been to just about every Big East Tourney for the last 22 years and a number of mid-season Orange appearences like this. I've seen Syracuse do amazing things on the MSG floor. All of that aside, Cal simply has much more talent than the Orangemen. I look for Cal to initally struggle with the 'Cuse zone, but I look for the Cal cream to eventually rise to the top. Syracuse will improve as the sesaon progresses, but right here, right now, I love Cal in this spot. I really thought Cal would be laying 2 or 3...the powers of the Garden and the 'home' court are only playing to my advantage.
CAL 68 SYRACUSE 62
We all know Pitt basically lost their entire team from last season. Yes, despite the losses Pitt does have more talent that Eastern Kentucky. However Eastern, returns 4 of their 5 starters...and these guys know how to shoot. All four of the returning player for the Colonels all shot over 38% from 3 last year. Eastern will keep this one close.
PITT 78 EASTERN KENTUCKY 70

Thanks for putting me onto that E. Kentucky play Swizzol. I got so excited about Ole Miss, I skipped right over it. I think you have a strong play there. Pitt is overvalued right now and EKU can play. Good luck with your card.

Fading Cuse at MSG, huh? I don't know much about Cal, so don't mind me. I just know that match up zone is tough to beat and teams seem to struggle at MSG, but Cuse is used to playing there because of the Tourney. I may have to jump on board, I see you and UNCForever both like it.

I could see 'Cuse losing by DD tonight. Their guard play is suspect at best and Cal returns all their weapons from last year. That Christopher kid should go off tonight. Love the pick

GL today have a good time at the games. You going to NY for the games next weekend?
50/50 on next weekend right now. I am only a 35 minute walk/train ride from NYC/MSG, so it's easy for me to get there. I didn't plan on going tonight until yesterday...next week will be a gametime decision.

How many BE Tourney Championships have they won the past 5 yrs again?
two.
and their big east tournament record over those five years is 11-3.
their record @ msg over those five years, when you figure in games in early-season tournaments and regular season games against st. johns, is even better.
cuse by 5-9 points tonight.
to the bank.
all the cuse naysayers have gotten torched so far this year. the trend continues tonight.
