1* Central Michigan Chippewas +9.5
The Chips just won two straight at home, one over BG which is a great win. Now they hit the road to Amherst and face a Minutemen team that hasn't covered as a favorite yet in conference play. I'm not sure why they get all the love here today. Umass last 6 games have been decided by a total of 13 points. And now they are being asked to cover double digits???
1* Kent St Golden Flashes +1.5
This game is always high intensity, so I'll full sure have it on one of the TVs. The Flashes have dominated this series of the last several year. They've won 4 straight in the series, 8 of the last 10, and 4 of the last 5 @ Toledo. Kent is coming off a drubbing @ Akron, but Rob Whaley didn't play. His status is still uncertain for tonight, but I think even without him, Delrecco Gillespie will dominate the interior and live on the offensive glass.
1* Tennessee Volunteers -12.5
Tennessee may set a record for offensive rebounds tonight. They already get nearly 44% of their missed shots since conference play started, and now they face the second worse rebounding team in the SEC. They can shoot the three ball, and the Rebs are going to play right into the style of play that Tennessee wants to play. Slow, and mucky, but they just don't have the dudes to keep this thing close. Ament is really coming on as a star, and we knew Gillespie was a scorer. Vols by 20+.
1* St. Bonaventure Bonnies +8.5
This could turn out real bad, but I'm playing the spot. Dayton has lost 4 straight. @ La Salle, @ St Joe, @ home in OT to RI, and @ SLU. The SLU game was expected, but they lost by 30. It may have broken the Flyers. The Bonnies are no pushover, but Dayton also has to be seeing that their next game is @ VCU where a SLU like outcome could be possible. They could come out and beat the brakes off the Bonnies tonight in a foxhole spot, but Coach Schmidt knows Coach Grant well, so asking to win by nearly double digits is a big ask for a team that is reeling right now.
1* Indiana St Sycamores -2.5
Evansville has two wins in Valley play and one was @ Indiana St. The Sycamores then went out and beat Illinois St, so likely a look ahead spot at the time. They have since dropped 5 straight, but no better time to get the Purple Aces. They've won just two games since 2026 began, one being the Indiana St win. They just can't figure out how to put the ball in the basket, and that's something ISU actually does very well when they aren't just chucking threes. They score inside when they want to.
1* DePaul Blue Demons +10.5
Revenge spot for a Demons team that i think may be flying under the radar. They've won their last four home Big East games, and their only blemish at home is to UCONN. They just dropped both road games @ Gtown and @ Xavier, so a little extra fight tonight for the nationally ranked Johnnies wouldn't surprise me. Holtman, as much as I didn't care for him at Ohio St, has done a nice job in starting the turn around at DePaul.
