1* Michigan Wolverines -2.5
I got this @ 1.5 last night, but that number isn't available anymore so 2.5 will do. Purdues last two at Mackey are a 4 point win vs Oregon, and loss vs Illinois. I'd put Michigan in the same category as Illinois, and they present similar issues. Lendenborg has a video from May floating around about "Fuck purdue" this and that, so he's apparently been thinking about this one for a while. Is is bulletin board material for the Boilers? Maybe. But Michigan is undefeated on the road this year. No reason to think they can't win here. Gonna be an awesome game, in a night packed with awesome games.
1* Xavier Musketeers +4.5
Kevin Willard has Nova playing as good as they have all year, winning 5 straight. But they just won @ Creighton, so they have a win on the road trip already, and they get UCONN in Philly on Saturday. Xavier is also playing it's best ball of the season right now, just taking St Johns to OT, and then winning @ home vs Marquette. This number is smelly low, and it's already come down from 6, with 2/3 of the action on Nova.
1* Kent St/Bowling Green Under 151.5
Kent Sts offense isn't what one would expect it to be if you've watched them the last couple years. They play with the same pace, but it's super reckless, and they don't shoot from the outside like they once did. I think Bowling Greens defense is the story in this game. Arky St put 91 on them 10 days ago, but since have only given up 61ppg since then. If you take the Arky St game out (non con game, so didn't mean much in the first place), their last four they've only given up 59ppg. I think the Falcons control the tempo at home, and that benefits the under.
1* Rhode Island Rams +10.5
Everyone in town is talking about the game on Friday vs VCU, so I'm sure the players have had it on their minds too. SLU has the #2 most efficient offense in the whole country, and #1 most efficient defense. Pretty remarkable, no matter what conference you're in. But I think they get everything they can handle tonight. Rhode Island was clearly looking ahead to this game when they lost in OT to Fordham at home. Everyone wants their shot to take down the undefeated conference leader, and they will give it hell tonight. I think this looks a lot like Davidson game that SLU played on 2/3. Rhode Island jumps them early cause they come out flat, but they rebound in the second half and win by 7 or 8.
1* UMASS Minutemen +2.5
ML play for me as well. I think the cinderella season comes crashing down tonight. UMASS lost by 2 @ Miami, but led for majority of that game, and should have won it. They haven't forgotten. Frank Martin will have his guys fired up, the place should be buzzin, and we are in for court storm!
1* UCF Knights +1.5
Gotta love getting points at this arena. The Bounce House isn't an easy place to win, despite WVU doing just that on Saturday. I don't think they lose two in a row at home. TCU just won in OT @ OK St, another tough environment, but asking them to do it twice in a row is a tough ask. Jamie Dixon is a hell of a coach, and done a great job this year, but this spot is tough.
